Spacious Three Bedroom Two Bathroom Apartment With A Large Sitting Room

A beautiful home from home in the heart of Chelsea next to the Fulham Road. Quietly located in a late Victorian mansion block this apartment has three large bedrooms and two bathrooms. A large sitting room with a dining table seating up to 8 people is comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, hob, oven and large fridge, freezer as well as a microwave. There is a washing machine, dryer and ironing board with an iron too. The apartment is on the second floor and there is an elevator [lift]. We provide towels and sheets for all guests. And of course wifi and two sets of keys.

Great accommodation in a great location

Very clean.

True to description. Very well equipped. Comfy beds. Lovely linens.

Massimo is excellent and very responsive.

No complaints at all. It's very spacious as far as London goes.

Nice and quiet area, necessary after hustle and bustle of London.

Would rent again in a flash and would recommend to friends and family.

Family flat in a beautiful building

Great location. Extremely clean. Access to property and information all accurate and easy to follow.

Excellent large public room - definitely large enough for 6 person family. Well stocked kitchen. Would definitely stay again.

There is a lot of excess furniture etc in the flat that make it seem a bit cluttered.

Owner's Response: thank you very much the apartment belongs to a couple I have known for 40 years and are now in their 80s. Part of the character of the apartment is their stuff and to ask them to clear it away would not be that diplomatic! But anyway I appreciate everyone has different opinions but maybe it helps you understand. It's not that bad at all...most people like it

Great location in Chelsea

Excellent location for our visit to London. Located in an area with all necessary amenities - grocery stores, restaurants and pubs. Spacious, bright apartment filled with character on a residential street. The flat would benefit from a de-cluttering of furniture and accessories.

Authentic London flat in fabulous neighborhood!

Our family of 7 absolutely loved this flat! Lots of room for everyone and the location was fabulous. We walked or took the bus to the South Kensington tube line for many fun filled trips to London. The neighborhood itself is wonderful with great shops and restaurants. I even took a yoga class! Massimo was great about communication and even helped us on checkout day when we locked something inside the flat! We loved the family feel to the home and it was super comfortable. Thank you!!

Old world charm in a superb location

We were 3 friends travelling together and appreciated the spaciousness of this charming apartment. The three large bedrooms gave us our privacy, while the lounge/dining area was comfortable and inviting for socialising. With the morning sunlight streaming through the windows it was an attractive spot to relax, read and chat. The kitchen was well appointed and the modern washing machine and dryer were an added bonus. The apartment block itself was very well maintained and located in a very desirable part of London. Strolling in the adjacent streets was a pleasant experience and there was a plethora of good cafes and restaurants to choose from on Fulham Road, barely 4 minutes walk away. The bus and train connections were also very convenient. A folder of information in the apartment provided useful advice on transport and dining options. The contact person for this apartment, Massimo, was extremely helpful and readily followed up on emails and requests before our arrival. We were especially grateful to be able to check in earlier and leave later which Massimo was able to arrange. This was much appreciated before and after long flights from and to Australia. The fact that there was a lift in the building was another distinct advantage for dealing with heavy luggage on arrival and departure and tired tourists after a day of sightseeing. Overall we rate our experience very highly, from the level of service provided by the agent, to the facilities in the apartment and the location of the property in a delightful and convenient area of London.

Great location but a bit run down

This flat is spacious and in a great location in Chelsea, close to shops, restaurants, and a bus station that will take you to South Kensington tube station in just a few minutes. My husband and I traveled to London with our two young sons and my mother and we loved the space and the natural light. It was a great home base in central London.

Staying here reminded me a bit of visiting my grandparents' home, in that everything was a bit outdated and rundown (there were two random pieces of wood just sitting next to the toilet that for sure didn't belong there, the carpets were a little stained, the tile in the bathroom was cracked--stuff like that), but also with quirky, cozy charm throughout. There are family photos hung all over, tons of books, and the artwork ranges from old-fashioned oil portraits that you'd see in the National Gallery to paintings that looked like they were picked up at a local market or during the owner's travels.

All three of the adults had trouble flushing the toilet, even though there are instructions taped to it. Sometimes it flushed no problem, other times it was hours and hours before one of us was successful in getting it to flush.

If you stay here, pay the French boulangerie Oree on Fulham Road a visit. We had breakfast or lunch here every day of our stay. Delicious!

Owner's Response: Thanks for this. Loo has been working fine all spring and summer. Sorry you had a problem with it. Not reported to me during the stay or would have looked at it. There are two toilets if anyone does read this and we look after the apartment and make sure all is working order. Some of those paintings were painted by the owner himself. They owners are in their 80s so may explain your comments.
