Spacious, adequately eqipped Outside there was no place to lie by the pool.

  • 3 of 5

The pool was a disaster as it leaked and was cloudy thus unusable.

We were plagued by flies (not the owners' fault but still a nuisance) as you couldn't open the windows in the very hot weather. Some sort of curtain or insect netting would be good.

We had one meal there which was magnificent, 5 courses of real gourmet food. We found 5 courses just too much otherwise would have gone more often.

We were also a bit far from shops and restaurants which we should have made ourselves aware of beforehand.

Charming farmhouse with few amenities

  • 3 of 5

This charming farmhouse is situated on lovely property located on a hillside far above the nearby town. There is a great garden where all sorts of vegetables are available and the views from the windows were expansive and beautiful. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were nicely painted. It was very warm when we were there and some ceiling fans would have been much appreciated as the apartment was too warm for sleeping. Also, although it is a bed and breakfast, we had to provide our own breakfast, as there was only coffee in the kitchen, so this was unfortunate, especially since it was located so far from town. We did not have wi-fi, which was very disappointing, since it was available in the main building. The outside sitting areas were all shared with the host's family, and it would have been nice to have had a separate, private area as pictured on their VRBO page. The price was good for the space provided in the apartment but we wished that it was more comfortable, in general, and more relaxing, as the photos suggested.

Lovely family vacation in an authentic farmhouse

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was exactly as described on the website and was beautifully decorated inside with a typical Aosta valley rustic but modern design. There was an incredible view from the bathroom window of the entire valley.

The kids enjoyed the donkey and the rabbits, the sheep and the dog and cats. It was a refreshing temperature in the summer because of the altitude.

Thank you for a lovely stay.

Beautiful family home with a warm welcome

  • 5 of 5

As a family of three we had a wonderful stay in this beautiful home. It was very clean and comfortable throughout with everything we needed and the views were amazing. Sara and family went out of their way to make us feel welcome and we were very sad to leave. They have a very special place and lifestyle which we loved being part of. With home grown vegetables and produce, a stunningly beautiful restaurant and animals to meet and feed it was truly a fantastic experience. There was lots to do in the area and is a great base for exploring the Aosta Valley.

Ruhig und trotzdem zentral, wunderschön (auch) für Kinder

  • 5 of 5

Prachtig zicht, mooi appartement

  • 4 of 5

Heel rustig. Verblijf in een 18th eeuwse woning. Vriendelijke mensen. In het weekend is het restaurant, dat eigen geteelde groenten verwerkt, open. Lekkere keuken. Aanrader.
