Few properties in Key West can offer a true combination of quality, location and privacy like this one! Perched above Simonton and Elizabeth streets, this 2-story, 1,000 sq. ft. townhouse 'in the sky' offers 2 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, 1 balcony, and a 400 sq. ft. absolutely-private 'sky deck'. As part an historical and exclusive residential community, this property shares a large, heated pool with 8 other unique (and, in 7 cases, smaller) properties, and has its own dedicated off-street parking spot.
The first floor (one floor up from street level) has both queen bedrooms (each with en suite full baths), a linen closet and laundry facilities. The second floor's open plan includes the kitchen, living room (with a pull-out queen sofa bed) and two large sliding glass doors that lead out onto the private deck. Pictures say it all!
Campbell Courtyard Townhouse in the Sky was perfect for our needs. We were 2 blocks from Duval St and only a block from a grocery store. The pool area is cozy and gorgeous. There was a gardener or groundskeeper that came numerous times during the week to keep the place looking great. The home featured bedrooms as you walk in that each had its own bathroom, as well as a walkout deck area. Laundry area was on this level as well. Second floor had kitchen which had most anything you need to cook should you choose to, and the dining and living area that both led to the skydeck which was my husbands favorite spot to people watch as they came and went to Duval St. Any "neighbor" we spoke with were very friendly. We chose not to rent a car as we were within walking distance to everything. Overall, we hope to visit this place again next time. Only downfall was a couple maintenance guys that came to powerwash the building while we were trying to relax in the pool. There were a few feral cats that hung out but you would only see them early in the am or late in the evening. LOVE LOVE LOVE the spot!
We visit every two years and this was our first stay in downtown. We had a great time and the unit was all we expected with the older feeling. No air conditioning problems for us. We loved the pool and found the place clean. The only drawback is the parking. We brought our Expedition, as the whole family came all adults now, with the knowledge that a parking spot was included. However on arrival we found the spot, while well off the street, would not allow a full sized car such as ours in without blocking the whole lot. Thusly we were forced to park on the street and hunt for spots. All in all we loved our stay and would love to stay again though with a smaller car next time.
We come to Key West's Fantasy Fest every couple of years. This was the first time we stayed on this end of town. It is a great location. Quiet yet close to the action; a short 2 block walk to Duval Street. An unexpected treat was the local parade came right down our street! The downfall was what seemed to b the owner of the building (?) is a local teacher that had a ton of small children over for the parade... And pool party after. Yelling and screaming kids for a few hours, totally monopolizing the pool and yard sucked.
We loved the local resident cats and what may b residents? The unit itself could use a bit of updating; get rid of the plastic drawers in the master and tidying up a those electrical chords. The second bedroom really needs AC; very very hot in there despite our keeping all interior doors open with the one AC on. Some what looked like cat pee spray in upper bathroom. Weird because rest if unit amazingly clean. No smells.
Shower head had to b changed but they did this quickly.
All in all very very pricey!!! But it is always more during FF. wish we could rent this place less than a week.

Three of my friends and I stayed here for a week in May 2013. We had a great time. The apartment was clean, nicely furnished, and had everything we needed for our stay. A grocery store is only one block away, and we were really close to Duval Street. Couldn't really have been a better location. We used rental bikes to get to the beach (almost every day). No problems at all with this rental - Jim the property manager went out of his way to help us get a piece of urgent mail, which was great. Overall, it was a great trip.
I just aren't 2 months in this condo. For Key West it is a very spacious condo in just the perfect location.You can truly walk to everything and you can just relax beside the pool. I would do it again!

We really enjoyed this charming property in the heart of Old Town, Key West. It was private, & yet, the neighbors were friendly and helpful. With two decks - one from our bedrooms (warmer in evenings), & one from the living area up top, we did indeed have all we needed. We turned our rental car in (highly recommended - you do NOT need a car, unless you are traveling off the Key) - there really isn't good parking as we wrestled with a small space in the alley - we mostly walked everywhere. We rented bicycles for the week, & really had all the transportation we needed. I was skeptical of the 'family' environment, but Key West is a place I want to return to again and again with my family. The 'wild' offerings were there, but not 'on display.' We loved Kelly's Caribbean Restaurant, Pepe's, Sarabeth's & La Trat on Duval for fine eats. Patti gave great advice - groceries @ Publix. Fausto's was ok & convenient. Hindsight 20/20 - I'd have spent time cutting out the coupons - I figured we missed out on at least $100 in savings, &/or freebies - it would have been worth the time. Get a KW book & get an idea of what to do ahead.Skip the Conch Tour Train - pricey. Fury snorkeling was a 'bust' for us - at Christmas time, we didn't get to go to 2 snorkeling spots, the water was very choppy, & full of jellyfish. Missed the sunset part of the snorkeling trip, as our Fury hosts were busy w/ dozens of internationals who knew nothing about snorkeling,& barely spoke English. Starbucks does not have Wifi, & charged me differently every day for the same tea. Try Island Joe's for coffee - just down street on Duval. After a bike ride around the island (highly recommended - but test your bike before you sign for it), the pool was inviting and nice. Our property was nice and shaded, with balmy breezes cooling us on the upper deck. Only suggestions:more hooks, towel racks in bathrooms & quality storage space in bedrooms. Someone came in and left something while my daughter was there by herself - a phone call or text first would have been preference. WiFi would be optimal, though I was able to tap into Ambrosia's open connection from the upper deck. Thanks for a great week. I recommend this place for small families, couples, or small groups (4 or so) who want to be near the center of it all, without being in the middle of everything! All in all, EXCELLENT location, great value, and extremely good for this busy executive's blood pressure - GREAT family vacation!
The property is in the Heart of Old Town on Fleming Street, providing the optimal location from which to take in the Island's most desired attractions: the Historic Seaport, Mallory Square, Ft. Zach State Park and Beach, Duval Street, and literally dozens of restaurants, art boutiques, playhouses and gourmet food markets - all within easy walking distance.
