This relaxing getaway is located only 14 miles from San Juan Intl Airport (SJU), accessible through several routes. Away from the noise and traffic of the city but within minutes of shopping malls (Outlets 66), renowned golf courses (Bahia Beach Resort & Golf Club, Trump International Golf, Westin Rio Mar Beach), casinos, horse tracks, local restaurants and world famous natural attractions such as the Yunque National Park

Relaxing quiet, close to stores and great restaurant.
We hardly stay in the apartment, we went out every day and went to the pool once and the beach. For a small time it was great and safe when we came back from the different national parks we feel like at home cooked dinner, breakfast and it was very private and easy to sleep. Thank you for great service.

great location and quiet complex with a near pharmacy - market to buy the stuff we need it for breakfast, well clean and secure, nice beach at the end of the complex , family enjoy it the week there at this place .

Warning... Warning... Warning...
I will start by stating that always remember you get what you pay for. This property came up in my search because I chose beech front. It was at the low end of my budget. I stay in beach front properties ONLY and they all are ON the beach. This was not. But I was not clearly aware of that until I arrived. I based my decision on the description in the listing. In fact when you have a choice to get in your car... it is NOT beach front. Plus there may be 1 building that is 150 feet to the beech out of 15+ buildings. The property was secure and clean, but the atmosphere of this particular property (VRBO Listing #104439) was NOT relaxing. As soon as, and every time we entered the condo we were greeted inside by an arm of mosquitoes. When we contacted the own he suggested things we should have done... Then when we pointed out it seemed to be a problem with the condo itself, there was no type of apology created by the owner to remedy the situation of his unit. On top of my pregnant wife having to battle mosquitoes, the property hadn't been properly cleaned and I couldn't take advantage of the very important amenities for which I booked. The air units we loud and I could hear them in my sleep. Even still at the end of our trip the owner made not apologies, no remedies. I expected at least half my money back. I will say this. This review is to let other's know NOT to stay here. To the owners: It takes more that the purchase of a property, and the collection of rent to be considered a GREAT place to stay. The owners need to stay here and understand what their patrons go through. The owner didn't share our concerns and was not concerned about our relaxation. One easy suggestion is to buy repellent bombs (less than $3) that last for 3-5 months. You bomb 3 times a year and people who visit can be ensured that the condo is a safe place for them on their trip away from the threat of mosquitoes that could carry Zikka. Another suggestion, an Information book in the unit. There was no info about how to connect to the wireless. Luckily I am an IT Engineer. There were remotes Everywhere (for 2 tv's...) Yet another thing to try and figure out with no direction. I don't recommend anyone stay here. On our 6 day experience we ONLY we bitten when we went in the condo... Now we have to get tested to make sure we, and the baby didn't catch anything from the exposure from the condo. We should have been refunded for our stay. I shouldn't have to ask as the owner was fully aware.
I deeply apologize that you did not enjoy your vacation as you deserve.

The unit has screens on all windows and sliding doors and are in good condition.
This is a tropical island and the unit is near the beach.
There may be mosquitoes in the surroundings, more or less depending on the season and weather conditions,
Doors must remain closed to avoid any mosquitoes from coming in.
All units have the same kind of in-wall air conditioning as required by the association for uniformity. They have a low and high fan setting. Low fan is quieter. Both AC are less than 3 years old.

great vacation spot
Our first time to Puerto Rico was amazing. We enjoyed the location as the condo was close enough to San Juan, as well as the rainforest and the east side of the island. The children had a great time too, they loved staying so close to the beach, they woke up in the morning and went swimming to either of the 2 pools or the beach, they never got tired of it. Everyone at the gated community was friendly, the security people at the gates were always helpful too. The condo is located in a poorer neighborhood, so we were glad it was gated, and we felt safe.
The condo has AC units in both of the bedrooms, the AC in the kids' room was great, but when we turned on the AC in the master bedroom on the 1st night it was not getting cold. So the next morning we told Luis, and he immediately sent someone to fix it, since then the AC ran great.
The price was great, and we got our deposit back soon after we left. We would definitely recommend it.
Perfect Condo for a Great Getaway!!!
With this being my family's first time traveling to Puerto Rico - we had no idea what to expect. This vacation exceeded our expectations. The Condo was a great distance from the Airport and Old San Juan (about 20-30 minutes). We arrived and called Luis when heading to the Condo and the housekeeper met us with the keys to the Condo. Everything was clean and perfect for our needs. I was nervous that it was really warm inside the living room/kitchen area but with the AC's in the bedrooms during the night - they kept the rooms at a great sleeping temperature. We figured we were going to be out and about so no need to worry about it being hot in the house.
The amenities on the property were great - 2 pools, Hot tub - Basketball court (which if you have kids who like to play - bring one along) we ended up buying one at Walmart. - The Tennis Court (which Luis' condo provided rackets and balls).
The Beach was soooo close, you walk out the Complex and it was completely private. The only sad part as far as view - the neighboring building is abandon so it can look a little sketchy when taking pictures of the great shoreline and palm trees. (Just crop that out) But overall the beach was quiet, clean and a great time to spend a morning swim.
We completely loved that the Complex was quiet - always being monitored by the security guards on duty, totally felt safe - which by the way talk to the guards and get the in's and out's of where to go. Shout out to Santiago for really giving us some great places to go visit and eat, especially not knowing the area and we really didn't want to spend all our time in Old San Juan.
We never got to go to the stores at the corner of the complex - we just drove to Walmart and picked up the necessary items which was not far at all.
Overall this place was a great place to stay if you want to be outside of the touristy areas that can sometimes take away from the true experience of traveling to different places. I truly felt I was staying at my grandmother's home in Mexico. Very comfy and homey.
Loiza is a town located 12-15 miles away from San Juan. You can go there by several routes, the scenic Rd 187 along the coastline, the old Rd 3 and the new tollway Rd 66. It is also close to Rio Grande where you can enjoy its beautiful golf courses and El Yunque Rain Forest, and minutes away from the towns of Luquillo and Fajardo. Loiza is a town with rich cultural traditions. St Patrick Church (1645) in Loiza is the oldest on the island still active as a parish church. Explore Cueva de Maria La Cruz caves with archaeological finds dating back to archaic days. Loíza is the best place to sample the Puerto Rican variety of Afro-Caribbean cuisine. The Loíza Carnival celebrates the African heritage of the town of Loíza. This annual folk (last week of July) festival features a religious ceremony, carnival, parade, floats, costumes, masks and bomba dancers. A lively Afro-Caribbean dance, bomba is at the root of the Puerto Rico's African heritage.
