Great cottage, tat free and rammed with books you cannot wait to read
A warm and comfortable cottage, on a quiet lane, overlooking the loch and hills beyond.
The House at Pooh Corner
Beautifully (and secluded) situated in the "wilderness" between Lochcarron (village) and North Strome, strategically located between, say, Ullapool and the Old Man of Storr. Charming and nicely refurbished old house with lots of space. Sleeping rooms and beds relatively new, I guess, and the overall silence at night let us sleep like innocent babies. The kitchen, well, showed some time´s blemishes on the surface, but I want to state that "all systems worked" including the washing machine. Okay, the toilet flush in the upper floor was a little bit economical with the water, what sometimes led to slightly irritating moments. All in all we liked Park House very much and yes, we would book it again.
Thank you for your review, we're so pleased you enjoyed your holiday. We have had the flush fixed and if there are any problems our caretaker is always there to help.
