We stumbled across Seascape on the internet, made a reservation, and thoroughly enjoyed our week in Gulfport. Minutes away from just about everything Florida has to offer, this quaint neighborhood is like Florida used to be, but rarely is anymore, and Seascape is an important part of that offer. Don't miss a stay in a bit of historical Florida, in a historic home. You won't regret it. We loved it so much, we did a virtual tour for Suzanne, be sure to ask to see it.
We really enjoyed our stay in Suzanne and Len's bungalow. The proximity to downtown Gulfport and all of its restaurants and the marina was great. We especially enjoyed the use of their beach bikes and touring the quaint brick streets and beach areas on wheels! We didn't get to enjoy the "water view" from the front of the property though since it was blocked by dry docked boats during our 2 week stay.
Seascape is a nice and quaint little cottage tucked way just down the block fro Gulfport's small downtown area. O'Maddys is a nice little bar/ restaurant with good food. There are also several other small cafe type places to grab breakfast lunch or dinner and various stores all within walking (or biking) distance from Seascape.
The inside of the cottage is very clean and nicely decorated and served our needs perfectly. Initially my parents, my one brother and his 10yr old son stayed with me and my wife as we all came down from NJ for a family wedding. Wasn't cramped though except for fact there is only one bathroom in the house. There is another bathroom in the laundry room located in the detached garage which did help but needs a little work. Other than this minor issue- all was fine and everyone had a nice stay.
Once everyone else left for NJ, my wife and I had a very nice time by ourselves sitting on the front porch or going for a walks or bike rides to the Gulfport restaurant/ shop areas or biking to Treasure Island beach. We used Uber to go to First Friday in St Petersburg and visited with my brother and my new sister-in-law up in land o lakes. It was a very nice time.
Joanne was quick to respond to any inquiries we had during our stay and a quick shout out to Len who fixed the bikes for us.

I couldn't have asked for a better stay, property was nice, clean and comfortable. Mrs. Suzanne was very responsive with any questions/concerns that I had. I'll be going back!!!
Your pictures don't do your property justice. We did not realize all the beautiful yards you have. The landscaping is beautifully cared for. Buddy had plenty of romping space. We loved being able to take Buddy on walks into the little town. The restaurants were all dog friendly and fun! What a great town. What a great house. Please let us know again about next January as soon as you decide.
What a great place to spend a few months!
We were lucky enough to rent this from Lenny & Suzanne for July & August 2015.
The house and Gulfport is a hidden gem. We couldn't have asked for more. Comfortable house, pet friendly, neat town, great restaurants.
We were able to explore the whole St. Petersberg's area during our time here and enjoyed every minute
We would highly recommend this house!
