Beautifully appointed modern detached, six bedroom house close to Helford River

Luxurious modern family property with plenty of space and superb facilities in an area of outstanding natural beauty, close to the sea with fine walks, boating, fishing and exploring. Easy access to beaches, and unspoilt villages where time seems to stand still. This property provides superb easily managed family accommodation with generous living space for 12 -14 people. All house towels and bed linen is provided. Three bedrooms enjoy en suite bathrooms with a further family bathroom for the remaining three bedrooms. The spacious living room with open fire place and solid oak floor leads into an attractive conservatory at the back of the house overlooking the small, well stocked garden. There is a cloakroom and study, with double sofa bed, leading from the hall, the latter overlooking the front garden with glazed double doors leading into the large living room. This room has a large Smart TV and DVD. Upstairs two of the bedrooms have TVs and there are good wi fi facilities throughout the property. The superbly resourced kitchen-dining room is equipped with plenty of crockery and cutlery and has a double oven, American style fridge freezer, micro wave and dishwasher. A separate utility room houses the washing machine and tumble drier and leads to the double garage where there is table tennis table and plenty of storage. To the front of the garage there is ample parking space for several vehicles.

About Vivienne Wells

Peter and Vivienne have three adult children and we have all enjoyed frequent family holidays together. The house has space to accommodate our extended, multi-generational family in comfort and style. We have celebrated Christmas and New Year together as well as many special birthdays and occasions. Peter and Vivienne met in Exeter at university and have a strong love for grew the West Country, open country side and sea. Although we now live in Kent, we spend every available moment and holiday in Manaccan. The house is our main family home and the place where we go back to whenever we can. Peter enjoys painting and the special Cornish air and light is a strong attraction.

Why Vivienne Wells chose Lizard Peninsula

Following numerous family holidays in Cornwall, we decided to purchase our own home in Manaccan in 2006. We love the small village and close proximity to the Helford River where we can walk, sail and enjoy the beautiful views. We have spent many a day walking the local coastal paths and on the beach with our dog, Millie. Manaccan is within easy driving distance of the The Lizard and Kynance Cove, Praa sands, Lands End and Sennen as well as the surfing beaches of the north coast of Cornwall. The variety of the coastline is immense and stunning. No holiday is ever the same!

What makes this house unique

Minster Fields is modern and easy to manage. The three en suite bathrooms make it suitable for use by extended or multiple families and afford privacy and comfort. The large kitchen and excellent cooking facilities mean that cooking and catering are as straightforward and easy as they can be for large numbers. Numerous beautiful rural and coastal walks can be taken directly from the house and it is wonderful to be able to leave the car in the driveway at times.

An excellent week at the house. Suited our needs perfectly.

We were a group of 9 ladies from Launceston in the area for a week for the County Golf Championships. The number of bedrooms suited us perfectly with 6 sharing and 3 in each of the double rooms. We loved the downstairs area and spent a lot of time socialising in the kitchen. The kitchen itself was well-equipped, including lots of spices! I would certainly recommend the property to anyone else. It would be great for two families with the layout.

Lovely big house for our dads surprise birthday weekend away

All was good log fire very cosy on a cold night , big enough kitchen for all & well equipped - only downside I think the house could of been cleaned a bit more including windows & the bathrooms need a bit of a touch up in areas . Perfect area which was good to explore from .

Perfect, spacious house for a larger group

We rented 9 Minster Feilds over the new year period, we were a group of 12 adults and the house had plenty of space for all. The house was very well equipped and had everything you could need plus a nice few luxuries such as the open wood fire and table tennis in the garage. The surrounding area was stunning some beautiful beaches and walks nearby, we would highly recommend going to Kyance cove, and ther near by pub the ship inn.

Cosy, home away from home in beautiful surroundings

A group of 13 of us spent this Christmas in Manaccan, all of various ages. Finding a property with spacious living area and a large enough dining table to seat us all on Christmas Day, was proving tricky at time of booking as we had left it a little late. Luckily, we found this place, which turned out to be perfect. Good sized rooms, large kitchen, beautiful conservatory which was a little cold in the winter, but would be ideal in the warmer months. The images on the site don't do the place enough justice.

What really makes this place special however, is the small personal touches such as books, board games and great choice of DVDs available to watch, as well as Chromecast to upload anything from mobile phones or iPads. When we arrived, there were fresh flowers, tea coffee and double chocolate chip cookies on the table! The ping pong table in the garage kept us active and the real log fire in the front room was such a treat. It was really sad to leave after 4 lovely days, we would happily come back soon. Thank you so much Vivienne!
