There are numerous restaurants within 5 miles from typical Portuguese to elegant European dining .

UnInterrupted views to the Spanish border and the hills nearby are yours to enjoy.

Fancy staying in?

Barbeque? You have a choice of 2, one inside and one outside.

Want to cook as at home? Our kitchen is really well equipped with lots of utensils and crockery.

Where do you want to eat your meal? Outside by the pool,

in the garden room or at the dining end of our comfortable

sitting room?

No need to wash up, let the dishwasher take the strain.

About Angie Davies

I am Angie, I bought our Quinta (farm) in 2004.

It took us about 3 years to get our house ready for rental.

We have been renting now since 2007.

Prior to having our Quinta we had a property on the coast which became too busy for us.

We love being where we are and manage to visit our house about 5/6 times a year.

Prior to retiring I flew with a major airline and when in England we live in the Cotswolds

Why Angie Davies chose Estoi

We wanted to get away from the crowds and this farmhouse, tucked away in the real Portugal had everything we wanted.

We love the view, the tranquility and the people.

What makes this villa unique

Our house is cool in the summer with its thick stone walls.

We have lovely breezes in the summer and azure skies.

We can walk to our coffee bar and sit and watch the world go by, we can visit a local restaurant and eat freshly caught fish.

We can stay at home and swim, sunbathe and then when the sun goes down, switch the pool lights on and stargaze whilst we have a drink.

Will we eat out, we will barbeque, perhaps we will eat in,?

It does not really matter.

We just love to unwind............... we hope you will too.

  • Bathroom 1 is next to the Master bedroom. It has a wash basin , cubicle shower , bidet and WC. Bathroom 2 is next to the twin bedded room. Here you will find a wash hand basin, bath with shower over it, bidet and WC. This is the biggest bathroom in the house. It is the biggest bathroom in the house. Bathroom 3 is equipped as for bathroom 2. It is next to the laundry room.

  • Bedroom 1 has a king size bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside tables with drawers and dressing table with drawers. Next to it there is a bathroom, (bathroom 1 in the description below.) There is also a small office in this area. Bedroom 2 has two single beds, a wardrobe, chest of drawers and bed side table. It is across a corridor to the master bedroom. Bedroom 3 is an upstairs room with a double bed. Off it there is a terrace with sea views included in the 360 degree vista. The room has a dressing table, bedside tables and wardrobes with shelving occupying one wall For families with a baby we have a travel cot.

A delightful rustic farmhouse

A lovely Quinta in such a peaceful setting and so much bigger than we anticipated. Great pool and BBQ which we used every night. Bedrooms and living areas well furnished and the kitchen and utility had all mod cons. Only half an hour from Faro airport and Tavira, so ideally situated up in the hills. We made good use of O Rissol ten minutes walk away where everyone was so friendly, with excellent rose and tapas. Would thoroughly recommend this farmhouse and Angie very helpful with the booking and was happy to provide basic provisions as we arrived in the evening. A great holiday.

A little piece of paradise in rural Portugal!

The farmhouse is absolutely beautiful with a great pool and patio area. It was so relaxing we hardly moved from the pool area! The bedrooms are well furnished and the whole house is welcoming - it was lovely to be able to go up to the roof terrace in the evenings. Facilities are great with 3 bedrooms and bathrooms, kitchen with microwave, cooker, fridge, freezer, dish washer and washing machine in the utility area. It was an easy drive from Faro, Angie gave us great directions, she even left us some provisions as she knew we'd be getting in very early in the day and wouldn't have had a chance to shop. Angie was very friendly and helpful during and after the booking process. I would not hesitate to recommend the property - we loved it!

Schönes Haus in ländlicher Lage

Das Haus hat uns sehr gefallen. Es ist größer als es auf den Fotos erscheint. Wir waren im November und hatten einen beheizten Pool was sehr zu empfehlen ist. Einige Sachen haben bei unserem Aufenthalt nicht funktioniert, dafür hat der Housekeeper David aber immer schnell eine Lösung gehabt.

Wir kommen gerne wieder!

sejour de charme dans une ancienne jolie ferme a la campagne

La propriete à une vue imprenable sur les champs d'oliviers et les figuiers, tout en étant à proximité de la côte. Elle est en retrait de la côte tout en étant facilement accessible. Elle a le charme des bâtiments anciens, beaucoup d,espace à l'intérieur , comme à l'extérieur (plusieurs terrasses, beau jardin), jolie piscine bordée de transats.nous avons beaucoup aimé visiter les environs : la côte et ses falaises découpées, les îles avec les grandes plages presque désertes facilement accessibles par bateau, le charme du vieux Faro, etc ....sans oublier le soleil radieux en permanence !

Les photos ne rendent pas hommage à cette très jolie maison idéalement située et isolée à la fois

En premier lieu les espaces sont vastes et nombreux. Outre les trois salles de bains, et les grandes chambres, la maison permet de choisir sa terrasse en fonction du soleil et dispose de deux "salons" qui permettent à chacun de mener l'activité de son choix à l'abri du soleil.

La piscine est grande et entretenue chaque semaine. Les chaises longues sont superbes ! Et il n'y a aucun vis à vis.

Le ménage est fait et les lits sont prêts dès l'arrivée.

Enfin elle est pourvu de tout le nécessaire pour cuire, refroidir et manger.

L'emplacement est idéal si on souhaite se reposer de la foule. Pour autant, il faut moins de 30 minutes pour être au cœur du plus grand centre commercial de Faro, et les premiers commerces sont situées à environ 15 minutes. Il ne faut guère plus de temps pour être la plage (isla fuseta est un 20 minutes).

Les précisions envoyés par Angie Davies sont tellement claires que le gps est inutile.

Et last but not least, le bar du village (à 500 mètres de la maison) est ouvert jusqu'à 22h00, les propriétaires sont charmants et on peut même y grignoter. Quant à la caiprhrina servie, c'est tout simplement divin.

Bref nous recommandons chaleureusement ce bien, pour deux couples ou une famille avec plusieurs enfants.

Our house is ideal for families and individuals who want to get away from it all.

There is plenty of room both inside and outside our Quinta (farmhouse) to relax in the sun or shade by the pool or in the sunken garden.

We have both an indoor and outdoor barbeque.

If you have small children, they can test the water

in our split level paddling pool, attached to our main pool.

It is your choice if you want the pool heated or not.

There is an extra charge for this.

As well as having almond, fig and peach trees in the garden, we are surrounded by farmland, citrus groves and fig orchards.

There are numerous restaurants nearby ranging from very cheap to a little more expensive.

We have bread and fish vans that stop close by.

All the towels and bedding are 100% cotton,

all pool furniture is hard wood .

We have large umbrellas to keep you out of the sun.

There is a sea view from the terraced bedroom.
