The Heriot Row Apartment is an elegant 18th century Category A-listed Georgian townhouse. The apartment is located in Edinburgh’s New Town and is simply the perfect location for your holiday home from home.

Fully renovated that completed in March 2015, the property offers a relaxed luxurious self catering experience in surroundings where original period features are complimented with modern comfort.

With private and secure main door access, the property is set over two floors. The property is truly unique with 4 double bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. In addition, the property has a large family sitting room, a drawing room, a study, a large open plan kitchen/dining space with a snug to relax in. There is also a private and secure rear garden which is accessible from the kitchen/dining room. Finally there is a utility room with a washing/drying machine.

We understand that no two guests are the same and are happy to offer flexibility in the sleeping arrangements. Two of the double bedrooms can be set to be either king size doubles or a twin bed arrangement. Just ask and it will be done.

For those who like to stay connected, there is complementary WiFi throughout the apartment and digital TVs and DVDs.

The apartment includes fresh linen, towels, washing machine/dryer as well as a complimentary Scottish welcome basket. There is also a Sainsbury’s supermarket 4 min walk from the front door.

Late check in... or arriving early... not a problem. Right outside the front door we have a secure storage unit for your luggage. However if there is no one staying before your after you - we are flexible on check-in and check-out times.

For families, we have a travel cot, high chair, toys and other children items - all aimed at making staying with families easy.

All that Edinburgh has to offer is on your doorstep. There is on street car parking located outside the property and the apartment is 10-15 min walk to the train station, tram or bus station.

If you wish to eat out, there are plenty of great restaurants nearby as well as all of the local attractions being right on your door step - absolutely everything is within walking distance.

Finally, we love to please. Therefore no request is too small or too large… all you need to do is ask. We look forward to welcoming you at the Heriot Row Apartment.

This is a property that has been in the family for years. It is extremely spacious and is truly amazing... we simply love it. The location is perfect... you can simply walk to anywhere in Edinburgh in a few minutes.

Over the last 9 months the property has been completely renovated from top to bottom. We are extremely pleased with the outcome and look forward to welcoming guests in.

Great apartments, spacious yet cozy, in mid of the New Town

We stayed here for Christmas as a family get together. The location is fantastic - in a quiet new town yet so close to everything. It's around 10 min walk to Waverley Station, and few minutes walk to all the great shops, cafes and restaurants. The castle area is also within walking distance.

The apartment is spacious but has a great and cozy atmosphere. Angus and Kirsty put additional efforts in creating a very welcoming environment and festival mood. Everything you would like to have in your own house is provided for. In fact we just stayed in the apartment most of the time without going out a lot.

Communication with Angus, pre and post arrival, has been seamless. This is the part that I am particular focusing on as it showcases the owner's hospitality.

We found this part of Edinburgh great. Less tourists and definitely upmarket. You feel you are part of Edinburgh living rather than someone who just passes by. It is extremely quiet.

Everyone of the family member was so happy with the choice and we will definitely come back!

Great stay - Very special apartment in a great location

The first thing that strikes you when you arrive is how nice Heriot Row is in general. A really nice location just a couple of streets back from the hustle and bustle of central Edinburgh. The apartment is clean, spacious and well laid out. There are some lovely period features but all the fixtures and fittings that you want to be modern (i.e. the heating) are. Communication from the hosts was very clear throughout. Very hard to find fault with anything. If it's your first time in Edinburgh I would recommend walking in the opposite direction to the town centre and visiting the royal botanic gardens. All in all very difficult to find a fault. Thank you Angus and Kirsty for a wonderful stay.

Great location but the property needs some items fixed.

This property is in a perfect location for seeing all of Edinburgh. It's an easy walk to the new town and old town; however, several items were not working well or needed to be fixed. The upstairs hall shower did not work, door knob fell off in the upstairs front bedroom, toilet roll holder fell off wall in downstairs bedroom, the coffee carafe was cracked. The apartment did serve our purposes, however, for the few days we were there.

The perfect place in Edinburgh

Three couples stayed at the Heriot Row apartment for five nights in early October and found it to be superb. Plenty of room, nicely furnished, well-equiped kitchen and absolutely wonderful location. Easy walking access to nearly everything and very convenient to buses for travelling to locations a bit too far for some to walk. Angus and Kirsty, as well as the concierge service, were easy to work with and the communication was excellent. Angus's restaurant recommendations were spot on. We can recommend this property without hesitation.
