Why The Owner chose La Baroche-sous-Lucé

We moved to France late last year so this is our first season at renting our Cottage. Decorating and furnishing it was the first thing we did when we moved in. We fell in love with the property in its beautiful setting it just makes us feel fantastic every day.

A lovely place to escape busy life

  • 5 of 5

We chose this as a quiet relaxing break from the hustle and bustle of London and it hit the nail on the head.

The Cottage itself is spacious and homely, very well equipped with all you need and has a great balance of the history of the building and modern convenience.

The location is good for exploring the local villages with Domfront a 5 minute drive away which is steeped in history.

The owners couldn't have been more welcoming and were always happy to help out with advice on where everything is and what's around.

Overall it was great value for money and I would happily recommend anyone to stay here.
