Truly a home away from home

  • 5 of 5

We have just spent one week in this wonderful apartment. It is decorated so nicely that we felt at home immediately.

If NYC didn't have so much to offer, we'd have spend more time inside - so don't be afraid of rainy days on your visit.

Herkimer St is not the most beautiful in the area, but what really counts is the fact that we were always pleased to come home to this cozy place after a long and tiring day in the 5 boroughs.

  • 4 of 5

A great, comfortable apartment with friendly family and neighbors!

  • 5 of 5

We were planning last minute trip to New York. With "teenage" children and a dog, we needed a place with enough space. This two bedroom was great! Cheryl and her family were amazingly accommodating. She helped us navigate the subway system… Which was around the corner, literally! She also recommended a few tourist attractions, and guided us to a local zoo after hearing my daughters love of animals.

We appreciated all the amenities in the apartment. The kitchen was well equipped so we were able to prepare meals on the nights we didn't want to go out.

We were planning to leave when a massive snowstorm hit New York City. Cheryl was gracious in making arrangement with us to stay an additional day. After the snow stopped, her family even offered to help us dig your car out before we left. That goes way beyond any expectations!! While we had complete privacy, the hospitality she and her family showed us made it like we were visiting friends in New York… rather than merely tourists of the city.

We will definitely stay again in our next trip. Thank you Cheryl for great visit to Brooklyn!

Perfect apartment in Brooklyn, New York City

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for a week in this apartment and we enjoyed it a lot. Its location is perfect (close to a subway station with direct trains to Manhattan) and the apartment itself was very comfortable and well-equipped.

Great apartment on a great location

  • 5 of 5

This was a great place to stay, really close to the subway.

We are a family of 5, the place was perfect for us and Cheryl was very helpful. The location of the apartment is just perfect, after you have spent all day walking in NY the last thing you want to do is walk a long distance from the subway to the apartment, it takes 2 minutes to walk to the apartment from the subway.

The kitchen is very well equipped, mum loved she could cook breakfast for the 5 of us before heading out.

The apartment looked exactly like the photos listed, no misleading information, and this location is safe.

Everything you need is walking distance, groceries, laundry, subway and everything you might need

I am really placed I found this place, it was great experience in NY and Cheryl was great and the best host.

Thank you from the 5 of us
