This beautifully furnished sunny south west facing apartment with air conditioning and high speed Wi-Fi is on the 4th floor (6 lifts available) of the Duquesa de España apartment building, from which it is just a 5 minute downhill walk to the nearest beach - Montemar.

Although able to sleep 4, this apartment is best suited for 2 adults. Located in a quiet residential area on the boundary between Benalmádena and Torremolinos, it is close to numerous bars and restaurants and from the 2 balconies there are good views towards Benalmádena Puerto Marina, the Mediterranean and the mountains.
The bedroom contains a very comfortable double bed along with dressing table and adequate storage space. The lounge, which also incorporates a dinning area, has an equally comfortable, easy to open and close, large sofa bed and storage area which incorporates a cable TV which receives English programs and a DVD player. There is a fully equipped kitchen and the modern bathroom has a thermostatically controlled large walk-in shower, toilet and wash basin.
The swimming pool accessed through the garden area of the apartment building is one of the largest on the Costa del Sol, however please note that the pool area is only open during the high season which is from Mid-June to Mid-September.
The 2 balconies have between them 2 tables, 2 sun-loungers and 4 chairs along with sun blinds, and in addition to providing a vantage point to enjoy the views and as they face south west they enjoy the sun between midday until the sun sets over the mountains and are not overlooked by high rise buildings.
The closest supermarket – Lidl – is 50 meters away, there are 2 bars within 70 meters and within 400 meters the area is full of numerous bars and restaurants.
The apartment is on the 4th floor with lovely views from both terraces, you can either have your morning coffee looking towards the coast or a nice glass of wine watching the sun set behind the mountains. The apartment was very clean and very comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. An added bonus was that there is a lovely pool area and gardens towards the rear of the building, which we also made good use of. Would definitely book again!
We have stayed in Torremolinos area for 20 years. We have tried different apartments -some close to beach - no pool. Some away from beach with pool - but long walk to beach in heat. This apartment fulfilled everything - short walk to beach with good, spacious pool. Near shop, good view, clean and tidy apartment, very professional instructions. Very good I will give 10 out of 10
The location of this apartment is super.
Close to a grocery, 10 minute walk to the Paseo Maritimo (beach) and the famous marina, also a twenty minute walk to the train station, and 8 minutes for the buses . You can easily explore the costa del sol from this location.
The apartment was clean and the view from the balconies (2) is awsome, to the left we see the ocean and to the right the mountains.We certainly enjoyed our month's stay.
Also very important is the quick and clear communication with the owner, Philip. I will recommed this place to my friends.
We had a lovely holiday in this gorgeous apartment, it really is fantastic. The apartment was easy to get to and the map and information that Philip provided were perfect.
The apartment was clean, comfortable, well-furnished and equipped and obviously very well looked after.
The views down to the Marina and sea from the 2 balconies were great and the location of the apartment just right as it was quiet and yet within a few minutes of the beach and less than 10 minutes from the life of the Marina.
We stayed at this apartment for 10 days in March and wished we had stayed longer.
The apartment was bright, clean and very nicely furnished with a comfortable bed and a really good shower. We found the location of the apartment to be really good as its some 5 or so minutes from the beach and less than 10 minutes from the marina, with numerous bars and restaurants to be found between the sea and the apartment. The apartment building was in a quite area away from any bars and on a private road and to be a well maintained. There was a Lidl supermarket close by and several others within a 10-minute walk – although with meals out so much cheaper than the UK we made little use of the supermarkets. All that we could have needed was provided from beach towels (that we did not use) to gel for the washing machine. We discovered that from lunch time onwards the balconies were is sun and enjoyed several sunsets sitting outside with drinks (in Mid March!) - guess that in spring and summer this would be a very popular thing to do!
The apartment is about 10 minutes by taxi from Malaga airport and we discovered the local railway station about 10 minutes walk away which took us to Malaga (great city to explore) and Fungerola (which we did not like as much as Benalmadena or Torremolinos) in a clean, modern, train for a ludicrously small price compared with what we pay in the UK.
It had been many years since we were on the Costa del Sol and we were very pleasantly surprised by how it had matured

Straight away let me say how very much we enjoyed our stay in this apartment. We have been coming to the Costa del Sol for 12 years and without doubt this is by far the best apartment we have ever stayed in. The location is good, the apartment is nicely furnished, it's clean, the space is positive, the view from the balcony is better than the photographs, and the description is accurate and even modest. We thought to come back in September but found the apartment to be fully booked, but will return next year.
