Nihilani is located in the Princeville Resort on the North Shore of Kauai, the beautiful 'garden island.' Construction of the plantation-style townhome complex was completed in 2006 making it one of the newest developments within the Princeville Resort community.

The two story attached home with 1,874 square feet of living area includes 3 bedrooms (1 King, 1 Queen, 2 Twins), a den (trundle bed, 2 twins), 2 ½ baths and all the necessary amenities such as washer and dryer, wireless high-speed internet, free long distance telephone service to the US and Canada, TV and DVD player, stereo speakers for ipod connection, and beach gear (boogie boards, chairs, towels, umbrella).

Exquisitely decorated with granite counter tops, hardwood floors, ceiling fans throughout, a private 2-car garage and 3 spacious lanai with comfortable outdoor seating. This home is great for 2-3 couples or a large family.

Guests of Nihilani are welcome to enjoy the private resort style pool with a waterfall flowing from the Pool Hale above and the relaxing jacuzzi. Also available for guests at Nihilani is BBQ facilities with tables and chairs for eating at the pool area.

My home is located within walking distance of the award winning St. Regis Hotel, Hideaway's Beach and Queen's Bath (a unique ancient Hawaiian retreat on the North Shore). Within minutes drive you have access to over 23 North Shore beaches, two of the best golf courses on the Island, Makai Golf Club and Prince Golf Course (Golf Digest rated the Prince Golf Course as 'Hawaii's No. 1 Golf Course').

Once you venture outside of Princeville, you will discover the quaint town of Hanalei located just north of Princeville. You will drive across one lane bridges all too familiar on the North Shore of Kauai (bridge etiquette: 5 - 7 vehicles on one side cross together and then 5 - 7 vehicles on the other side cross) and through some of the largest taro fields in Hawaii with visible waterfalls on the green mountains beyond. Hanalei is a quaint town with unique shops and some of the best dining on the North Shore. Kilauea is another quaint town just south of Princeville. The Kilauea Point Lighthouse, built in 1913 was a navigational aid for commercial shipping between Hawai‘i and the Orient, Kilauea Point Lighthouse stands as a monument to Hawai‘i’s colorful past.

Magnificent !

We needed a place to spend some family time, and this home was just perfect for us (6 adults & 1 child). each room provided enough space for two, the kitchen was spacious too and well equipped. The garage was big enough for the family van we rented with the additional bonus of 2 bikes and beach chairs. The home is well ventilated and very quiet day and night. Lori, the owner, came to pay us a visit and gave us a few precious recommendations concerning the area. We can only recommended and would not hesitate to rent it again. Mahalo !

Wonderful experience for our family holiday of 3 generations. Everything you need to be comfortable & relaxed. Close to shops & activities. An unusual blend of perfect holiday house while feeling like ones own home. The owner was always available to answer questions or give valuable information on the island. Delightful pool on site. I could thoroughly recommend this property for either the perfect family holiday or a quiet getaway for those seeking quiet privacy.

Beautiful spot and responsive owner

Eight of us were comfortable here (2 kids were on the twin/trundle combination in the nook that has no door--but that was fine for them). The grounds and pool area are beautifully landscaped and well maintained. Inside the unit, the washer leaked on a Saturday, but by Monday, Lori (the owner) had a new one installed. Even the lanais (upstairs and down) are well-furnished. We also really appreciated the beach chairs, sun umbrella, and bikes in the garage. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Home and Incredible Host!

This was an incredible find! The home was beautiful, easy to access and fully stocked with all the amenities. The host was incredibly gracious and made extra efforts to accommodate us with short notice on our arrival. The property was spacious and the pool and hot tub were such a treat to enjoy! We would absolutely recommend this location to anyone and hope to visit again in the future. Thanks again Lori for hosting us!
