My wife Helen and I (Scott) moved over from the Northwest of Ireland and have lived out here full-time since 2002, having renovated the farmhouse and accompanying barn by ourselves since that time. We are effectively retired and live a quiet life!
I do like to hand-weave as a hobby and I have a big old traditional hand-weaving loom in a downstairs workshop in the barn conversion. Although it is tidied away during the summer months to make way for the table tennis table, I'm always happy to show it to anyone who is curious.
Whilst respecting the privacy of our guests, we like to make sure that they feel welcome and know that they can approach us with any issues. We'll often share a wee dram during at least one evening of our guest's holiday.
Owner/Property Manager purchased this barn in 2001
The first time we visited the house and saw the views we fell in love with the location hook line and sinker.
Pour nous accueillir, la famille McNutt nous avez préparé des lasagnes et une bonne bouteille de vin du pays. Des hôtes discrets, mais attentifs. Un espace magnifique, calme absolu ! Des bons moments passés dans la piscine.
