Read a book on a deck that looks out at over 60 miles of US Forest Service land. Take a walk from your back door and explore on forest service roads and an ancient railroad bed to discover an old rock quarry and a pond that uses White Horse Ledge for a back drop. Extend your walk all the way to the Moat Mountain summit if you have a full day or bring a mountain bike and have a blast cruising on the service roads or challenge yourself on some single track. Walk or ride to Diana's Baths, White Horse or Cathedral Ledges and Echo Lake, or drive the few minutes to the public parking areas. Chill out in this private, peaceful location that is a 6 minute drive to all the action and wonderful restaurants in downtown North Conway.

Thanks Daryl for a great weekend with our family. Your townhouse was the perfect setting for our getaway. We enjoyed the convenience to the Outlet stores, the hiking, and the cozy sitting area around the wood stove. We all hated to leave and go our separate ways but you can be sure you will be hearing from us again.
We have rented sevreal places in New Hampshire over the years however this one is one of the nicest. It feels more like a close friend has lent you their own home for you to enjoy. The house is very nicely decorated and is stocked with books, nice art pieces, and other attractive decorations. The kitchen is fantastic and is stocked with top notch equipment, silverware and stemware. Nothing about this house say "rental". There are 3 full baths (one on each level except the loft), full size laundry equipment in the finished lower level and two TV sets. Wireless internet is throughout the house. The woodstove easily heats the 3 upper levels (although there is electric heat we did not use). The lower level is heated with a built in propane unit. The location is super quiet and private. Marked walking trails though the woods start right in the back yard. Downtown North Conway is a short drive - maybe 10 minutes... The owner (Daryl) is professional and easy to work with. You can tell she cares about her property and wants to keep it looking it's best.
My family has stayed at this townhouse two years in a row. We have two small children (under 4 yrs old). Both trips have been great and we have been very happy dealing with the owner.
The townhouse has a lot room and is situated close to everything (the main st, Storyland, etc). Two families could easily share the place.
Just out the back door are hiking trails. We are not avid hikers, but have been able to take a nice 1/2 hour stroll wth small children and not had any problems.
We have been very happy renting here and look forward to more trips in the future.
The townhouse was immaculate and very spacious. Located off of busy Route 16 but within a short drive to all the popular destinations. Setting is secluded in a woody, quiet area. The unit had plenty of room for our family with 4 floors, 3 bathrooms with showers ( a plus ) and plenty of beds/futons. Ideal for larger groups. Our kids loved the finished lower level, especially the ping pong table. I would definately recommend this unit. The owner was courteous, friendly and easily accessible.
North Conway is an outdoor lovers paradise whose rock climbing scene is featured in the July 2007 'Rock and Ice' Magazine. The area comprises most of the road cycling routes in '25 Best Rides in New Hampshire.' There are hundreds of miles of Hiking Trails maintained by the Appalachian Mountain Club including the famous Hut to Hut Hiking System in the White Mountains. The Saco river offers canoeing, tubing and swimming. North Conway is the base camp for the Mount Washington Valley family tourist attractions.
Other Activities: StoryLand, Mini Golf, Saco River canoeing and tubing, Outlet Shopping
