I live in Paris since 20 years, and before have lived in London, NYC and South of France.
I work in photography field, and I will be the person to greet you in my family home Paris.
We will do our best to make you feel like at Home, by giving you some tips of where to go & what to do, introducing you to things we love. We are always just a phone call or e-mail away to answer all of your questions.
I have been renting my home since a few years and love to meet our guest, enjoy to share a drink with them, and advise them on where to go and what to do in our neighberhood.
Antoinette purchased this townhome in 1981
I have always loved 'Private Cobble Stone Alley ' typical of 19th century, vintage mood. In the 80zz , it was possible to convert shops into houses. In a few years our private alley, originally only with craftsman shops, became private homes. Many artistes used to live in this neighborhood, such as writer CELINE, singer Jacques BREL, actress Sarah BERNARD. Now BATIGNOLLE area became one of THE hot spot where to be...
I like the contrast of 'Countryside feeling' in the heart of 'City buzz', the kind of buzz you get Place Clichy, with cinemas, bistros, animation from Montmartre, people going back & forth. I like the calme and privacy given by this 'private mews', where my home is located, it is peacefull, quiet, neighbours are frindly , it's like beeing in a village.
the most benefit is that it is a REAL HOUSE, which is very rare in Paris and makes life more cosy, when we are a large group to share time & space together.Or when it's just 4 people traveling together for business purpose, its nice to each have its own intimacy and yet be i a large loft for a drinck.
The "Amazing Quiet House in Paris" was a great find for a long week in Paris. There was more than enough space for my group of 9 (the place is listed for 10) - everyone had a comfortable bed and we never had to fight over the bathrooms, a plus. The location is great - it's amazing how peaceful the place is, yet only a few steps and you are on the main street w/ everything you need (Metro is less than a min away). Antoinette was very responsive to all my emails/requests - great to work with. The house does have narrow stairs, so if you have issues with climbing, this may not be the best place for you. Otherwise, a great find.
We stayed with our children and grandchild to celebrate our Ruby Wedding anniversary. An excellent choice for an extended family. The house is quiet and offers plenty of space. The cobbled alley provides a delightful approach. This is an excellent location from which to explore the city especially with the metro being so close. Internet access from the house is good. The owner was very helpful and responded promptly during the straightforward booking process.
Wonderful accommodation, everything was brilliant. Accommodation was ideal for the eight of us, plenty of shops etc close by for food and easy walk to Monmatre. Metro station 100yds away for other adventures into Paris. All wonderful! Highly recommended.
Tucked away in a pedestrian alley, the house is away from the noise of the city but with easy access to a metro station and convenient stores. We visited most of Paris tourist attraction and needed only one change of Metro, and could go anywhere within 30 minutes. The Monoprix next door is not the high end gourmet food from some other area of Paris but it provide a large selection of product sufficient to cater a family for Christmas.
The owner is working around your arrival and departure time and really make it convenient for you to come.
The large living room/dinning room was nice to share time as a family for an annual reunion.
We really enjoyed our time in the house.
We stayed at Maison Antoinette over New Year with our friends and 5 children. The kids loved staying there and we found the location, close to Metro, shops, supermarket, restaurants etc was superb.
The house is well equipped, with a well stocked kitchen and plenty of space for a big group to relax and eat together. The beds were very comfy and with its location away from the road we all slept well.
The internet was a little intermittent and the heating needed turning up when we arrived. The master fuse kept blowing when we put the tumble drier in the morning (when other appliances were also on).
These were minor points, and we would still recommend MA to friends.
As advertised. We were two families with a total of 10 people (4 adults and 6 kids from ages 16 to 4) and had plenty of beds and space for all.
Great space, very convenient location for metro. Clean and comfortable. Would stay at again!
The apartment worked out very well for our family of 5. It is away from the main tourist areas and quiet but it is close to public transportation to get you anywhere in Paris. There are restaurants and groceries within a block.
The apartment is clean, large, and nicely equipped.
Do notice the ceiling warnings in the apartment description. My son and I are 6-4 and 6-6 and two of the rooms were just too short for us.
