Taking the coastal road towards Limassol is Petra Tou Roumiou (Aphrodites Rock) probably the most photographed spot on the island. This narrow pebble beach with its rocky entrance into the sea extends both east and west of the rock. The resort is conveniently situated approximately 16kms from Paphos International Airport approximately 80kms from Larnaca airport, very close to motorway links from both.
There are traditional villages nearby including Kouklia to the west, a quiet, traditional Cypriot village about a 10-minute drive from Aphrodite Hills. It offers some good local restaurants, events in the summer, all set in the tranquil surroundings of this sleepy enclave.
