We have all returned home by now and I want you to know how grateful we are to have had this very special time at your unique Crestview Circle home that welcomed us at every moment. As you had predicted we had sun and clear skies most of the time but also knew right away that no matter the weather we would have a great time indoors too with all that space to spread out, gather and withdraw. The views from the living rooms and all the bed rooms are spectacularly beautiful, some nights with gorgeous sunsets. We loved the beach - so empty at this time of year -, some of us even went swimming ! Cooking the meals in your spacey well equipped kitchen was fun and much preferred to going out for dinner. All together: it could not have been better.
Thank you again
This Truro home is so lovely that we have spent three weeks there over the last two years! The home is light, bright and spacious with truly spectacular, panoramic western views across Cape Cod Bay. The beach is wonderfully and surprisingly deserted; the water is relatively calm and great for swimming.
Sipping wine and nibbling on appetizers while admiring the sunset across the water was the perfect way to end the day. And as a special treat, when the sun dips below the horizon you are then greeted with the twinkling lights of Provincetown!
The constant breeze off the bay pouring through the over-sized windows was reminiscent of nights spent at anchor on a sailboat...except (and this is a big except) with all the creature comforts at our fingertips! The kitchen is well-equipped and the beds are simple and comfortable.
The floor plan allows for a separation of space so that even when the house is full of people you enjoy a sense of privacy and can "get away" by yourself.
While we had all kinds of plans to explore the outer Cape during our stay, the house and surroundings proved so alluring that none of us left this self-contained paradise all week!
Ernie, the owner is a true gentleman, and he was very responsive when we had some challenges with our internet connection.
Couldn't have been happier with this beautiful home and location! We spent a week here with a large group of family members and had such a wonderful time. The large common areas are perfect for big groups. The views of the coastline are just fantastic and you can't beat the proximity to the beach. Owner and caretaker are both very accommodating. Would return in an instant.
The accommodations were perfect for our large group. Our ladies group this year included 13 and there was plenty of room for us all. The views from each bedroom were amazing. The kitchen and dining area were spacious and we never ran out of hot water which was a plus! The beach is private and the large deck was perfect to watch the amazing sunsets from. We had a wonderful time!
This is our second stay here, first time was early Spring a couple years ago, this time fall for a family wedding being held in the area. This home is bright, clean, spacious, and the views just can't be beat. Owner is responsive and accommodating. We had 11 people staying here, and had plenty of room to allow everyone their space, and, to allow us all to hang together. Well equipped kitchen. Beach is stunning, and private. I can't wait to return.
We had a great time. The house was great for our party. 15 minute drive to P Town. Easy access to the beach via stairs. We had a wonderful time.
Our 4-generation family reunion here was ideal, with great accommodation for 1 to 83 years old, all needed amenities and The Perfect location - steps to a private beach, and 15 minutes to Ptown. Because of great weather, we spent most of our time at the beach, swimming and sunning, and the kids loved all the inflatables available. Plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas. Huge kitchen with everything we needed; laundry facilities and outdoor shower very helpful. House was well kept and comfortable for a big crowd - easy to be all together or apart in small groups, or alone to read. (Hope the neighbors enjoyed our karaoke nights!) Thank you, Ernie, for a truly memorable week.
This dramatic house is located in a rural area at the end of a dirt and gravel road in a small community of houses in historic Truro, Massachusetts, one of the least developed areas of Cape Cod. Truro has miles of uninterrupted stretches of ocean and bay beaches. Much of the town is within the borders of the National Seashore Park, intersected by biking paths and nature walks. Tennis, shopping, fishing, whale watching cruises, and restaurants are available in nearby Wellfleet and Provincetown.
