A comfortable 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, home from home with fabulous views

A comfortable home from home, this 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment in Arinsal, Andorra, is ideal for winter skiing, summer walking and year round mountain biking. Stunning mountain views, close to ski lifts & slopes, shops, bars & restaurants.

You will be met by our friend who lives close by who will provide keys and an overview of the facilities - access, cooking, heating etc.

A welcome pack of of bread, milk, eggs, can be arranged if you would like this. She can also organise all your ski passes, transfers, etc and have these waiting for you on your arrival, and will be contactable throughout your stay for any help and advice that might be required.

Arinsal is well served with bars and restaurants and there are a couple of shops locally to buy fresh bread daily and other food. La Massana has a good selection of shops too. The apartment is 5 minutes from the Arinsal ski lift. The main town of Andorra La Vella has a world class selection of tax and duty free shopping, the unique Caldea aqua spa and hydrotherapy centre after a great day's skiing is a must, along with some superb restaurants.

Andorra has one of the lowest crime rates in the world and is well served with first class medical, ambulance, police and fire services.

There is a great bus service locally and there are regular bus services that run from Barcelona and Toulouse Airports direct to Andorra la Vella, and another on to La Massana and Arinsal. There is car hire available and our friend on site can help and advise if this is a requirement.

The airport in Seu D'Urgell in northern Spain (about 10Km from Andorra) will begin operating a service from Barcelona, Toulouse and Lisbon airports from January 2015.

There is a welcome folder in the apartment with suggestions for restaurants and other useful information.

No smoking please in the property, however you are welcome to smoke on the balcony. This is our home on land (we live most of the time on a boat) thus kindly treat the apartment as you would your own home, with a bit of love and respect... So in closing, please kick back, relax and enjoy your stay.

About Sarah Davies

We are both semi retired to enable us to fulfill our dream to sail and have bought a 43.5ft steel hulled yacht, which we live aboard and will next year sail to the Mediterranean and who knows from there where we may go. I am a Reiki practitioner and my partner is an IT specialist. We both worked in London for many years and are so happy and lucky to be away from the rat race now. We love our apartment and are happy to make it available for like minded individuals to enjoy the vertical and stunning views, which will also help us to keep the property in good order for many years to come.

Good apartment and stunning views

The property is perfectly situated with amazing views. The apartment is a little dated and could do with updating. The flat is comfortable and well equipped although the owners personal effects could be removed. The walk to the Gondala is longer than a five minute walk and driving is the best way. Bars and restaurants are good and they make you feel very welcome. Arinsal is a lovely village. Skiing was fantastic and ski school very good. The property Manager Anne was fantastic with great communication and very helpful booking lift passes etc. I would recommend the apartment. The owner Sarah was very kind by providing a welcome gift of wine which was very much welcomed after a long drive.

There are sheepskin rugs to keep feet warm as you get out of bed. The window gives a beautiful view to the mountains. The second bedroom has a double bed and bedside shelf with reading lamp. A book case, a hand painted chest of drawers, a small desk and table. It also has a wifi enabled printer, a range of reading lamps and a window leading onto beautiful view up to the mountains.
