Being a Realtor I know that LOCATION is key when buying Real Estate. I spent several years looking for the perfect cabin in the perfect location and I finally found it. The Crystal Mountain neighborhood is well hidden but easy to get to yet it's conveniently located 6-7 miles from Blowing Rock, Boone, Valle Crucis (home of the Original Mast General Store) and many other nearby amenities including Boone Golf Course, which is open to the public, numerous great places to hike, Grandfather Mountain, Tweetsie Railroad, and Banner Elk.
Peace and quite, beautiful views, nature (a good chance you will see deer or turkeys) all of the great amenities I have added to the cabin including pool table, hot tub, 60 inch Plasma TV to watch your favorite sports team or Blue Ray for movies. Plus each bedroom has a 40" Flat Panel LED Smart TV's and another one in the family room. I also have three other DVD players setup with some of the TV's. You won't be roughing it here.
Close to everything yet, tucked away in the woods. Lots of space for fun and family. Would definitely return! We loved the hot tub and pool table.
Good sized cabin, rooms are a little on the small side but nicely furnished. It's a good distance between Blowing Rock and Boone making traveling into either town easy. The roads to the cabin were nicely maintained and not extremely steep. Parking is tight but still manageable with 2 trucks and an SUV.
Great location. Great amenities. Great times. We would definitely come back and stay again. Looking forward to make it an annual trip!
Spent 4 nights with my family (2 small kids). The house was clean, great layout, great location that was convenient to the parkway, Blowing Rock, etc. Great value for a fall get-away!
Overall was fantastic, well maintained and clean. beautiful views and nice spacious cabin with a great 6p hot tub and billiards. The kids enjoyed this and playing with the leaves in the garden. Even had some deer pass by. If you are looking for a great deal then this is it. Loved going to grandfather mountain and went to the hickory live museum to learn about seddler history in the mountains. We will definitely consider coming back here next time!
We had a wonderful time while staying at this house. I couldn't believe how quiet the area was. The hot tub was great to relax in after a day of hiking, etc. The pool table added some spice to the evenings. Great place to stay!
