About claudia Morace
My name is Claudia Morace. I am 73. I have a daughter, she is a pianist and two sons lawyers as my husband was.I have also eight grandchildren. I love taking personally care of my house and of my apartments in Florence. I love flowers, nature, people and life.
claudia Morace purchased this Apartment in 2002
Why claudia Morace chose Sant' Ambrogio
After my husband's death, I had to sell a beautiful family property dated 1800 in Austria. It was too expensive for me to keep. I have always been dreaming to live for a while in Florence and I decided to buy an apartment in the very heart of the city. I take care of my two apartments, listing 92298 and listing 165586 with love, trying to immagine what I would love to find renting a place far away from my home. Full comfort, peace, a luxury experience, an owner replying to all questions, assistance to plan trips.

Marvelous - from beginning to end
From my very first communication with Claudia, our stay at her Florence flat has been seamless. Clean, centrally-located, spacious, thoughtful touches (water and milk provided at arrival), restaurant recommendations, and, of course, samples of her divine, homemade olive oil. Everything about Claudia’s home was wonderful!
Home Away From Home
The rental experience was very simple and the owner, Claudia, was very responsive and helpful.
The apartment is spacious, comfortable and beautiful. The location is perfect for walking to all of the major museums and the good shopping areas and restaurants.
Claudia was warm and welcoming and very helpful. She provided a basket of fruit and a small can of olive oil from her farm. She arranged a great private car to take us on a lovely day trip to Siena, Monteriggioni, and San Gimignano.
I highly recommend this apartment, especially for the very reasonable price for all of this luxury.
Wonderful stay in Florence
An amazing trip for my husband and two teenage children. The location was fantastic and Claudia could not have been more helpful. I would definitely recommend to family and friends
Great place to stay.
Claudia is a wonderful owner/concierge. It’s fun to stay in the old part of the city. Great restaurants and bars in walking distance and easy walk to tourist sites. It’s comfortable but better be advised that you will have stairs to climb. We got in shape by the end of the week. Claudia is a gracious host and was wonderful. Nice alternative to a hotel.
it was a pleasure to host you and Dianne and a pleasure to be your concierge……
I hope to be somehow a little better …..
On my page listing 92298 and listing 165586 is indicated that there is not lift and that the apartment is on the second European floor which is like a third one.
Everything about this apartment was perfect. The location, the amenities, the check in and check out, the cleanliness, and the decor and set up of the apartment. We did get our exercise going up and down the stairs but that helped us work off all the gelato that we ate. Claudia's Assistant Kitty did a great job checking us in and familiarizing is with everything. The air conditioning was a lifesaver. We absolutely loved our stay!
Wonderful, charming apartment—perfect for a family vacation
The apartment was so lovely that my 12-year old son wanted us to move to Florence so we could live in it permanently. It was a true joy to walk into the apartment each day. It was beautifully decorated, extremely clean and just so inviting. My husband, two kids and I stayed there for three nights so having two bedrooms plus the loft was ideal. The kitchen with its big table and wood panels became our favorite gathering spot. The location was perfect, quiet but close to a grocery store, restaurants as well as the Duomo. Claudia was extremely accommodating and made us feel welcome with the milk, coffee, bowl of fresh strawberries and bottles of olive oil. If we return to Florence, this is absolutely where we will stay. The one mistake I made was making our travel plans before checking with Claudia. I started corresponding with her shortly before our stay and her suggestions for the order we should visit the various cities in Italy and where we should stay were much better than what we had come up with on our own. Claudia is a tremendous resource, speaks and writes in excellent English. Reach out to her early and don’t make my mistake.
thank you so much for your kind and beautiful comment.
It was a pleasure to host you and your family and I hope you will be back again.
My only concern is that I was not able to meet you.
All the best
