Quiet,wildlife, no highway noise, scenery
What a great time we had at this wonderful house! Our far flung families were able to spend time with our Tucson family in comfort here, with the highlights being the spa/heated pool, the bathrooms in each room, and the open floor plan. The pictures really do not do this place justice. The large kitchen/breakfast/living room areas allow people to have individual conversations, as well as one big one, which was great for Christmas. It's got a huge master in one wing, 3 bedrooms in the other, and a separate casita for the 5th bedroom. The house feels very private, as the houses are few and far between. You're surrounded by desert and are able to see the beautiful Tucson sunsets every night. We all went for walks around the area, seeing javelinas, a coyote and a jackrabbit. Bill was very responsive and made our time there the best it could be. It was our first time at this property, but probably not our last. Highly recommended!
We had a group of 8 that traveled to the Tucson area for an annual golf trip. This house was a gem and fit our needs perfectly. I would highly recommend this house as one cannot say much, if anything, bad about it. Bill, the owner, met us upon arrival, let us know about the operation of the pool/spa and also answered any questions we had.
Secluded, so privacy was never an issue but close to golf and amenities (groceries within 5 minutes and golf within 10). The furniture was all of a good quality and comfortable. The house was clean and well maintained. It is difficult to think of a negative with regards to the property. We did have an issue one day with the controls to the pool/spa system but the pool guy came over immediately assisted us so that it was a non issue.
Again, I would have to say that I would recommend this property to anyone that is looking for a house on a huge, scenic lot yet in a convenient location.
This is an outstanding property! This was our second time at this home, and we highly recommend it. The photos don't do the property justice --it is a newer home with very large living areas and upscale furniture; it is extremely clean; every bedroom has an ensuite bath; and the backyard pool area with spa, barbeque, and covered patio is simply terrific! It is located close to the Dove Mountain area and all it has to offer - including the outstanding golf at Heritage Highlands, The Gallery, and Ritz Carlton at Dove Mountain. The home is in a gated community and being on 4 acres it is a very quiet area. A shopping center with a Fry's, The Steak Out Restaurant, a Circle K, gas stations, Banks, etc are a two minute drive away. You won't go wrong renting this property -- the owner is very helpful -- we enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning next year!!
This is the second time we have stayed in this beautiful house. The location is very quiet and private yet close enough for the major desert attractions. It has all of the comforts you might want and more than you expect. The owners are delightful and go out of the way to ensure the stay goes smoothly. There was only two of us staying here but the house will accomodate many more very easily.
This is the 3rd house we have rented in the Tucson area over the past 4 years and this was truly the best! The house was in a very secluded area yet 5 minutes away from stores and restaurants. While there for only one week we saw javalina's, a bobcat, a coyote, and lots of jack rabbits & unique birds. The house is surrounded by protective rod iron and wire fencing so we did not feel threatened at all. Everything worked and we did not have to contact the owner for anything, we have no complaints! The home was clean and well maintained. A couple great places near by to eat were "The Steak Out" 5 minutes away, and a little Mexican Restaraunt a little further maybe 15 minutes called "La Olla Cafe". The Steak Out was a little pricey but well worth it, the Mexican place had good prices and it was the best Mexican food we have ever eaten!
We were at the Univ. of Arizona Speedo National diving competition in Tucson. Had 5 stay at house.
2 adults + 3 children. 25min. from UofA.
Well worth the traveling to and from pool. Family enjoyed the house with its ammenities. Secluded in dessert area with great sunset over pool and waterfall.
Nights spent by the fireplace were a good way to wind down and end day considering the competitive nature of the event.
It had everything we needed. Surrounded by good restaurants, and great access to groceries. With secured gate access.
Only minimal negative would be better outdoor furniture by pool and spa. As they have seen better days. (lots of days in the dessert sun)
Other then that highly recommend.
Will need vehicle to take advantage of its location.
