Find your cares float away as you stroll through the front door of Logjam Cabin located at the top of Mountain Top Drive in Fairmont Hot Springs BC.. You'll find yourself fantasizing about a week or weekend of ultimate relaxation as you peruse the homes open floor plan. We are within a minute drive or a 10 minute hike of the world famous Fairmont Hot Springs Resort. We are within 2 minutes of Mountainside and Riverside Golf courses and within 20 minutes of over 6 other course.
We have everything that you could wish for in our custom-built cedar log mountain home. Our mountain home is a wonderful place to enjoy your winter, spring, summer or fall vacation, family get-together or ski vacation. Each room in our house is decorated for comfort. It's a perfect home for your whole family to settle in and enjoy with room for extended family and friends. While our home is spacious (over 3000+ sq ft) it offers privacy and coziness. We are located on a .5 acre wooded lot that backs onto the mountain with miles of open hiking,horseback riding, and quading trails.
There are four bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. The bedrooms are very comfortable with luxury linens and unique mountain furnishings. All bedrooms have windows.
LogJam Cabin offers an open floor plan with extensive use of glass. The main floor offers a Great Room with a 22-foot log cathedral ceiling. In this room one can sink comfortably into a large sofa or big chairs and enjoy the wood burning, natural hand-picked stone fireplace. Also, on this floor is a large bedroom ,with a burl pine log bed,full bath , gourmet kitchen and dinning area and access to the 800 plus foot view deck.
The kitchen is equipped with everything that you will need to cook your holiday dinners, (if you don't want to cook there are several excellent restaurants nearby) simple or gourmet meals or that romantic dinner for two. The cabinets are oversized maple with a vast amount of storage space. All appliances are high quality complete with a gas range and a electric convection oven. There is plenty of room for the whole family to help with the cooking. The kitchen is very spacious. When your meal is complete, get everyone together and sit for dinner at our oak table that seats 6. The raised log bar area seats four additional people comfortably. Don't want to cook indoors? We have provided a gas grill on the spacious deck.
The upper loft level of our home offers 2 bedrooms, queen sized log beds and incredible valley views . .
The walkout basement houses the master bedroom, a beautiful log burl bed with the attached bathroom,walkin closet and the adjacent 2 man jacuzzi tub. Also, down here is the incredible log bar and floor to ceiling natural stone gas fireplace. Great conversations and good times are often had down here in the natural log barnwood decor.
The laundry room contains a high capacity washer and dryer (Whirlpool H3).

Very neat and rustic log home, nice ambiance in that. Very room, and gave us all we needed to have 3 sections of the family, one on each level, with own bathroom, etc. Overall everything we needed. A few bits of constructive feedback; the rocks all over the counters for décor were a nuisance, makes clean up a pain, neat idea for a magazine shoot but not practical for actual living and using of the space. There was a lot of excess décor, we ended up putting so much away and aside until we cleaned and left an put it back because it was ll just in the way. Also, the picnic table on the deck was a great spot but the plastic tablecloth was in shreds so every time we sat there and everything we put there was covered in bits of plastic tablecloth, should have had a new proper one on it.
What a gorgeous home! We loved congregating on the deck to enjoy the great weather and watch the sun set. Comfy furnishings and beds, lovely decor and a kitchen that met all our 'epicurious' needs went a long way to make our stay so enjoyable. We were dissapointed not to be able to use the outdoor firepit due to local fire bans but maybe nexttime! The location was great for easy acces to the hotsprings, groceries, golf courses and restaurants. Thanks again for sharing your lovely home with us.
STUNNING EVERYTHING from cabin size, decorating, views, location, fire pit, fully equipped kitchen, waterfall and tree fort.. Pictures do not do it justice. Clean and well maintained Just spent a family weekend there with 6 adults and a baby and lots of space for everyone. Ken pleasant to work with. Close to groceries, White Swan lake, Fort Steel and Invermere. We had a blast. Can not wait to return.

The damage deposit is based on 50% of the total rental cost. As an example, if your stay is costing 1200, your deposit would be $600.00
The deposit is 100 percent refundable and will be returned within one week of departure provided the property is left in the same clean condition as you arrived to..
Cancellations outside of 60 days prior to arrival will receive full refund. Cancellations 30 days or within prior to arrival will be charged the full balance of the booking. All damage deposits will be refunded if a cancellation occurs within any time frame. Cancellations that result in a shortened stay will forfeit the full advance payment. No refunds will be given for storms. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. Gravel drives are well maintained, however we do not refund due to road conditions. Two cheques are needed in advance, the damage deposit/downpayment cheque, which is 50% of the total rent, once it is received the property is now secured.
The total of the rent is needed in a post dated cheque dated 30 days before you arrive. Both can be sent at the same time.
The deposit funds is 100% refundable upon having the home inspected once your party has left.
