Built in 2008, this modern, spacious and comfortable bungalow stands at the end of its own private laneway. The house has three bedrooms, two of which are en-suite. Both en-suite bedrooms have kingsize beds and the third bedroom has one double bed and a single bed with bathroom directly across the hall. Black out blinds are fitted in the bedrooms and all bathrooms have power showers. Linens and towels are supplied.

There is a modern well equipped kitchen, American style fridge freezer, gas hob, electric oven and breakfast counter. The sitting room has an open fireplace, 42 inch TV with Sky channels, a DVD player and a wide choice of reading material.

Double doors lead into a large sunroom conservatory with dining area and amazing views. To the rear of the house is a lovely patio area accessible from the conservatory, with picnic table, patio furniture and gas barbecue provided.

On request, the following items are available at no additional cost, full size wooden cot with bed linen, highchair, baby monitors and toddler bed suitable to approximately age 5.


Oil Heating and Electricity are metered and charged at cost price. A reading is taken on arrival/departure and due upon check out. Garbage disposal is included. Check out is 11.30am. Check in is after 4pm. Changeover day is Saturday.

Lovely property, great location

Spacious, quiet, warm and excellent location for just looking out to sea or exploring the local area. The house was like a home from home and can't really think of anything that I would change about it. Enough space for 2 adults and 4 children, including 3 teenagers, to be together and apart when required.

Great location with spectacular scenery, and an excellent property.

This property is in a great location, spacious, comfortable, warm and very well equipped.

It is a short walk to the sea, there are many good walks in the area within easy reach, and the property is very private. For those days when the weather is not so good there is a warm and airy sun room to relax in which has panoramic views of the surrounding hills and sea.

We also found local eating out to be of a high standard - often a rarity these days in coastal and rural locations.

It is difficult to find fault with this property. Our only criticism would be that the bedding is overwarm - maybe designed for colder Irish days - lighter duvets/bedspreads would be an improvement. We were pleased to find however that the beds all have flat topsheets which many properties do not have .

The property was in beautiful condition with everything you need.

From the time we arrived till the time we left we had a great time. The house was amazing and the peace and quiet was exactly what the doctor ordered. We were met by Michael who was an absolute gentleman and was able to answer all questions. It is a very beautiful part of the country and there are some wonderful views to see.

New cottage, very clean, with not too distant views of sea and Connemara hills. Nice bedlinens; all new kitchen accessories. Lots of leather couches for curling up with a good book. Great free wifi. Sweet kitty visits with lots of purrs from little 3-legged Cassie, and 2 local ponies in the next paddock. Enjoyed delicious generous meals at CloverFox restaurant in nearby Letterfrack. They take credit cards and were the only local restaurant serving late evening meals. Friendly local suds at Molly's across the road about 10 minutes from cottage. Many restaurants and heritage sites close in winter. Beautiful Kylemore Abbey house and walled garden are nearby with a good gift shop.

Fabulous in every way

Such a beautiful house in a beautiful location. Views were stunning over the sea & mountains. Very close to some gorgeous sandy beaches just along the coast in either direction.

Located in Gurteenaclough on the Renvyle Peninsula in Connemara Co. Galway, it is a 5 minute walk to the nearest village of Tully and to Gurteen/Tully pier and beach. (Available to view on google earth)

Although a short walk to the village and the beach/pier this tranquil location is private, fenced and gated with ample parking.

Nearby villages of Tully and Tullycross combine to provide a grocery store/filling station, Post office/shop, small hardware store, doctors clinic, equestrian centre, church, pubs with dining, hotel/restaurant, garage and a taxi service. Amenities in the area include boat/fishing trips on, golf, hiking, guided walking tours and bicycle hire. Cleggan Pier is a mere 30 minutes drive with ferry access to Inishbofin Island, a lovely day trip.
