Wonderful break away from it all.
Lisa was very available and her folks were most helpful. We were very comfortable in the home. We enjoyed the open fire with plenty of wood provided and the beds were comfortable.
A "GEM" in Northwest Galway!
This was our 14th trip to Ireland over the last 38 years. By far this was the best cottage/house we've ever rented. Mesmerizing views, beautifully appointed, comfortable in every room. It often rained during our 2-week stay but we never minded it so delighted we were to just veg out in this unique area + a fire every night. Just grand!
PEACEFUL AND IMMACULATE
This is a lovely house in a beautiful setting. Immaculately spotless and very comfortable. Lovely coastal walks from the door and two decent pubs a 15 minute walk away. The only gripe was the Irish weather - take an umbrella!
The house is beautiful and spacious. It was very well equipped and the view was lovely. I really can't think of anything to criticise at all.
We keep coming back!
This is a wonderful property within easy walking distance to Tullycross where there are a couple of pubs, a restaurant, and a church. This is a beautiful part of the planet especially is one desires simplicity and peace and quiet. The home is comfortable and well equipped and you should not need for anything.
Didn't want to leave. Spent 3 nights and a lot more we wanted to see in the area but got drug down to Dingle and didn't want to leave there either.
The perfect (unexpected) weather helped, but walking up to Tully's Cross for a pint and taking the ferry to Inishbofin were highlights of our stay. I may have used a little more fire wood than I should have, but a postprandial Green Spot after hiking around and surviving Irish roads made it hard to go to bed.
Owner and caretakers were immediately responsive to all inquiries and I'm pretty sure I'm a better singer and poet after only 11 days in Eire.
