The condo is wonderfully located--beachside with a short block walk to the Marina. The grounds are immaculate. The view across the bay is outstanding. The condo itself is roomy and well appointed, lacking little in supply. The property staff was welcoming and helpful although there several small issues that were slow to be resolved and frankly the condo could have been cleaner when we received. The owner was very accommodating in helping us through some booking issues and the information package provided was excellent. In fact, the only major downside to our experience was in dealing with VRBO. That said, I certainly wouldn't hesitate recommending this property.
Feedback is always needed. Fortunately, my new property manager seems eager to help and to keep up the place and improve things when needed.
Never stayed at this property before many many pluses few minuses no music playing allowed only with earpieces no music with aerobics either another minus too many rules saw boys playing soccer were told not allowed however all in all it's a beautiful property and very safe it's gated would definitely go back again

Shangri-La has adopted rules that some might find unnecessary. They are intended to avoid situations that some might find annoying, such as people playing music by the pool. I am making an effort to share the HOA rules with guests before they book their stay, so they know what they can expect. However, sometimes rules are overlooked. In that case, if something is annoying, there are security staff to ask for help.

Very Clean Condo Excellant Location
Great condo for our family of 5 but would sleep six. Very clean, with all the amenities you could want. Excellent view of the grounds, ocean, ships & boats going in and out of marina. 5 minute walk to many marina restaurants, <10 min. from airport, great bus & taxi service.
Wonderful staff Owner Steve is most honest & helpful.

Shangri-La HOA limits occupancy of three bedroom/3bath condos to 6persons, despite otherwise easy accommodation of more guests. The king beds in the Master Suite And Second Bedroom Suite easily sleep 4 persons, the queen bed in the Third Bedroom Suite easily sleeps 2 more, for a total of 6. And the double and single futons in the third bedroom allow for other sleeping options. I think it is also nice to have them for extra seating in the 3rd bedroom.
A View Of A Pool
This was our first trip to PV. We wanted a centralized location, as we wanted to explore downtown and up the coast to Sayulita and Bucerias. This was a perfect jumping off point to both. The best part of this condo, is the pool that comes with it. We have a 2.5 year old, and the gigante pool was a lot of fun for us, and we spent a lot of time lounging in and around the pool. The marina is located right across the street, with restaurants, small boutique stores, cheap massages, and convenience stores. There is a supermarket within walking distance, back towards the airport. Located next to the supermarket are several banks, with the best exchange rates we noticed, but you need $50 or $100, as they wouldn't take my US $20's. There is a taxi stand right outside the condo, and the concierge will call a cab right to the door. We had a few problems when we settled in, the air conditioning wasn't working, and the water pressure was pretty low. I called the condo owner, and he got right on it, the property manager came over with in 1 hour and fixed everything. The condo is clean enough, and well appointed. A great place to stay for a 1st visit to PV!
This was our first trip to PV. We absolutely loved this complex and the pool is second to none. We rented a car expecting to do several day trips but quickly decided sitting poolside was too hard to beat so we returned the car. It simply wasn't needed. It is so easy to crab a cab and there are a number if great restaurants in the harbour within walking distance. The suite was very well appointed and lacking nothing, although a grill would have been nice. The owner was great to deal with and if we go back to PV this is the only place I would want to stay.
Shangri-La offers many amenities; they include a huge infinity pool, beach with palapas and chaise lounges, beachfront gym and spa with massage service, poolside cafe/bar, and concierge sevices. In addition, it is conveniently located just a short block away from Marina Vallarta shops, restaurants and yachts, near all yet private and quiet.
Also, convenient taxi and bus service just in front of the property will bring you from the airport or into town in just a few minutes. If you decide to rent or bring a car, the unit has parking in the ground floor garage. But you can be happy staying home the entire time here. And 3 LCD TV's are in the unit, in case you want a break from paradise.
Other Activities: shopping, boating, parasailing, wildlife viewing, health/beauty spa
