Gulf and Bay views from this signature resort building. 2 level living includes 2 bedrooms, with King bed, queen bed and private bathrooms. Upstairs is kitchen with beautiful maple cabinets and all the amenities expected plus more. New large flat panel TV. This building has it all, pool and hot tub new in 2007(refurbished in 2016), exercise room, sun deck,tennis courts, racquetball courts, table tennis room, sauna, and a short walk thru private entrance takes you directly to the white sands of the Gulf of Mexico. Bird Watching: The island is a prime bird watching mecca with many birds migrating thru this area in the spring and fall. The convention center at the north end of the island is a prime location

Free Island Transportation: 'The Wave' offers free transportation on the island and across the Queen Isabella causeway into the town of Port Isabel. Chain stores like Wal Mart and Bealls are located in Port Isabel. The Wave runs often up and down the length of the island and you can get all the information at the Visitors Center, which is a short walk south of our condo. So you can park your car and forget the price of gas.

Water Sports galore: Kite Boarding has it's world headquarters here. It's great for spectators also. Parasailing, surf fishing, bay fishing, deeps sea fishing, dolphin watching are all favorites. And there's Schlitterbaun, the world famous water park on the island too. Sail boats, jet skis, and wind surfers are a common site on the bay.

Fantastic views of the sunrise and sunset and the fireworks at Louie's!

Perfect anniversary getaway. The Larson's have a wonderful 9th story condo with upstairs living and kitchen and downstairs bedrooms. SPI is our favorite beach location in Texas and this condo is in the center of it all. You won't be disappointed.

Amazing vacation condo!

Linda and Emil went WAY out of their way to make our stay so very comfortable for us! Since we stayed there over Christmas, they somehow managed to have a beautiful little tree all set up for us. They even had a family game wrapped up as a gift to us!! The island was a little foggy for our stay, but we caught a GORGEOUS sunrise on Christmas and also the day after. We appreciated the beach chairs immensely and they got used almost every day. The pool was perfect, the hot tub was perfect.. AND SO CLEAN!! Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful.

I think one of the best features of the condo was the amazing soft king bed. I took a picture of the kind of mattress it is and someday soon will be converting my own bed over to that.

No matter where we went.. restaurant, pirate ship, turtles inc., horseback riding... you could not meet friendlier people. We will be saving our money to return in 2018 (wish we could afford to do it sooner). MANY, MANY THANKS for the ABSOLUTE BEST VACATION WE HAVE EVER HAD!!!!!!

The condo was excellent!!!

We stayed the week of Sept. 10-17 weather was just outstanding. Condo had a view of both the bay and ocean. Very clean with everything needed to cook your own meals or just relax in nice comfortable furniture. Bed was very comfortable. We highly recommend this unit and plan to use it again when we come back to the SPI.

Wow! What an amazing place to stay...clean, inviting, amazing views and accessibility to beach

Wow! What an amazing place to stay..we had a fabulous time staying at this homeaway...It was clean, very nicely appointed with comfortable beds. Great directions given to find the condo....Easy access to great restaurants and beach. I wanted to really try Civeche, Civeche and it ended up right behind the condo! We really enjoyed Louie's Backyard with it buffet and fireworks..Great food! The pool was enjoyed in the evening after a day at the beach...Loved the fact that we could go out on the patio and enjoy the site and sounds of the beach and ocean but then return to the living room and the sound was gone thanks to the great glass doors ...sound proof...the kitchen had all kinds of helpful items to make our stay easy...loved getting up early and make coffee and watch the sun rise..AMAZING VIEW. We enjoyed going on Murphy's Law to watch dolphins and out into the Gulf to get a sense of the differences in water currents and history of the area. .I really can't say enough about this lovely homeaway site...one of the best if not the best we have experienced..thanks for having such a great place for others to enjoy at a great price... Appreciated quick responses to any questions......we will be back!
