With a great location on the lively Calle de Caballeros, this charming one bedroom apartment is ideal for those looking to stay in Valencia’s most vibrant neighbourhood. Situated in the heart of the El Carmen barrio, the apartment is part of the city’s most historic area. Calle de Caballeros itself is home to some of the best food, shopping and nightlife in the city, and is also a completely pedestrianized street. The area immediately surrounding the apartment is filled with cafes, restaurants, bars and shops, meaning guests needn’t venture too far to find whatever they may need during their stay. A number of Valencia’s top sights and attractions are within easy reach, including the beautiful Cathedral and must-visit Mercado Central, as well as many historic churches and important museums and architecture.  The apartment is located inside a traditional building that has been recently renovated to the very highest standard while still retaining its historical features. With a focus on open-plan design, the main living area includes a sitting room, dining table and fully-equipped modern kitchen. The modern sofa opens out into a bed and is perfect for children or additional guests, and a traditional balconette window fills the space with light during the day. The master bedroom also features a balconette window and features a spacious en-suite bathroom. Guests have use of a private roof terrace that includes a dining area and sun-loungers – perfect for enjoying the wonderful views of the bustling city below. The entire apartment has been decorated in an elegant, contemporary style, with hardwood flooring, neutral tones and splashes of bright colour throughout. Please note that the terrace is not connected to the apartment and must be accessed from the building’s main stairway.

Surface area: 75 m2 + 12m2 of terrace. Fourth Floor. Entrance leads into an open-plan living and dining area with a fully equipped open-plan kitchen. The living room is furnished with a 3-seater sofa (can be used as an extra bed), a leather single-seater sofa with a foot rest, two-level coffee table, long cabinets beneath the flat-screen TV, and a reading lamp. The dining area is adjacent to large French window with a balcony and is furnished with a table that seats four. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge/ freezer, 2 ring ceramic hob, oven and dishwasher. The master bedroom consists of consists of a queen-sized bed (1.50m x 2.00m), bed-side table, and wall-mounted shelving. The bedroom also has two large French windows with a balconies. The en-suite bathroom has a large walk-in shower, a washing machine and wall-mounted shelving. This apartment has a private roof-top terrace that can be accessed from the main stairway of the building. Although it is for private use, it can’t be accessed directly from the apartment. Please note there is wooden flooring throughout the apartment except the bathroom which is tiled.

Absolutely outstanding.

If I could live in this apartment forever I would. The location is unbeatable. The decor was crisp, modern, and sleek. The view from the floor to ceiling windows was inspiring. And the private rooftop deck that this apartment has is the best in the building and beckons you to spend your evenings before dinner sharing some Cava while listening to the church bells chime. Frank was increasingly helpful and took more time to provide us with information and guidance than we have ever experienced from a VRBO owner. If you want to be right in the heart of this magnificent city, this is the apartment for you.

A lovely bright apartment in the right place

We had a great 10 days in the apartment - it's an easy walk from the metro (20 mins direct from airport) if you're that way inclined and is right in the heart of the old town. Lovely and bright, it's very private, has a great terrace from which to ponder the rooftops and has everything you need in terms of a very comfortable base - airy lounge, well equipped kitchen (mind your head on the cupboards!), plenty of wardrobe space and decent Wi Fi. Night life is pretty hectic at weekends but incredibly good natured and is part of the fun - obviously tons of restaurants locally but you'll be rewarded by strolling away from the main drags to the quieter streets, particularly Calle Baja. Valencia itself is fantastic, great mix of old and new, we filled our stay no problem from MotoGP via the old town squares and buildings to the Paseo Neptuno, the Zoo and the Science Park. We used a Mobilis card (metro/tram) and Bonobus to get around, cheap as chips and a great way to add to the experience. Overall, a great city enhanced by a really high quality apartment, supplied by a professional organisation.

Wonderfull apartment - watch out for the nights!

Valencia is a beaytifull city, and you could not find a better place to stay, than i the Caballeros apartments. Everything is of very higt quality, and the service is top of the top.

But you SHOULD give it a thought, that the decription "vibrant neighbourhood" means NOISY neighbourhood! This apartment deserve 6 stars but because of the sleepless nights (every morning between 2 am and 4 am) we can only provide 4.
