Villa Tamara is a beautiful villa situated in a hilly and panoramic environment. XL Pool with shower and slide, 2.500 m2 garden, playground, spacious sundeck, covered lounge area, sun loungers, 2 outdoor dining facilities, large BBQ (charcoal), beautiful garden.


Prices are based on 14 persons. Extra persons € 15.00 p.p.p.n will be automatically included in price quote. (Maximum is 16 +1 child under the age of 2).

Bed/bath/kitchen linen/Cleaning costs are included in the price quote

Note: For stays of 14 days or more, a mandatory weekly in between cleaning and linen change are automatically included in the price quote.

Heating Costs are not included in the rental price

Credit/Debit Card Costs (on line booking) are not included in the rental price and will be charged to tenant (payment upon arrival).

The villa is divided in two living areas; The primary floor: covered entrance and spacious entrance hall with guest bathroom and staircase to lower floor. Large living room with ample seating. Large balcony with outdoor dining set seats 14. At the front side of the villa, another (hardwood) outdoor dining set. Large dining area seats 14. Spacious kitchen: 2 fridge/freezers; 2 ovens; 1 micro wave; 1 dishwasher; large Boretti cooking unit (1.20), sink. Three bedroom suites.

The secondary floor: Large hall, living room with L-shaped kitchen and bar; 2 Master bedroom suites and 1 Family suite (two double rooms with a large bathroom). Hall to utility room with 2 washing machines and tumble dryer. Lots of drying racks. Outside: guest bathroom.

The villa is centrally situated, but a car is needed:

Cancellation costs:

From the moment of booking till 8 weeks before arrival: 25% of the rental sum.

About Ingrid Linscheer-Junge

My husband and I are very proud of our Spanish Villa, we bought the villa in 2004. It than was very old fashioned and delipidated. It was basically a bungalow built on a 'basement' which was only partly in use as a garage. The villa did not have a practical floorplan (lots of split level parts), so we started to make plans to renovate. After a lot of wild ideas, we finally had a good basic plan and started the renovation in 2005. The raw structure was ready at the end of 2006. Than the painstaking finishing started. We did a lot by ourselves with the help of good friends. In 2016 we finished the renovation.

We fell in love with this property because of its beautiful and quiet but also central location. The villa is situated in the wooded hills, so nature is only a few steps away. Only the residents and guests of the villas of this urbanization and the nearby urbanisation of Romanya de La Selva will use the roads too and from. The roads are well maintained and the highway is a only 1.5 km downhill and easily accessible.

The villa has the advantage of a healthy and quiet environment coupled with lots of entertainment in the nearby villages and cities. Transportation is on easy distance: Girona Airport, Trainstations of Caldes de Malavella, and Girona, the harbours of Palamos, Sant Feliu and Playa d' Aro, all within a half hour drive.

The villa and its surroundings are ideal for family groups with or without children. Cots (2) Euro 35,-- per week incl. bedlinen and highchairs (3) ad Euro 7,50 per week are for rent. At least 4 rooms have ample room for a cot or an additional bed (2) (against an additional charge of Euro 75,-- per bed per week). A group of befriended couples will happily share the comforts inside and outside the villa without a loss of privacy. Most bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms

Amazing Villa

My extended family of 13 stayed at this villa for a week and we had an amazing time. The property itself is fantastic and we really enjoyed all the different spaces - pool area, outside seating, large open plan kitchen, dining and living room as well as a great balcony. The town nearby is small but has everything that you need and there are other towns close by which have more extensive restaurant options, shops and beaches.

The owners were really helpful throughout the booking. Ingrid was great with the communication and everything was clear on our arrival. We also had a small emergency while there and Ingrid was available to provide guidance and help. Would thoroughly recommend this property.

Simply the BEST!

We had an amazing holiday in this villa. It is beautiful, spacious,immaculate and stunning! The owners are incredible and maintain a spectacular place.We loved meeting them and they were very hospitable.You never feel on top of each other as there's room for all, even at full capacity with 16 people.The pool was a big hit and the deck was our favorite place to sit and eat all together.The location was private and safe.The villa is very well equipped and organized. We could not have been happier. We would love to return one day! Thank you Ingrid and Stephen.

Tamara is a delightful property located in the hills above Santa Christina and affording panoramic countryside views. The house, pool and garden were presented to a high standard of cleanliness and very well maintained during our stay. The rooms are spacious and well furnished with comfortable beds and pristine bathroom and toilet facilities. The Kitchen and utility facilities are well equipped.

The owners Ingrid and Stephen were very helpful and on hand to assist with property matters and guidance on facilities in the area.

I would highly recommend Tamara as a property and also the close proximity to magnificent beaches, rural villages and walks.

be aware of your priorities

We stayed at the house in the first part of August ,six adults and six children.

Most of our period was pleasant.The house offers some explicit positive aspects and some negative one's. Positive: spacy rooms, long tables - place for everebody during meals, nice garden, very good swimming pool and excellent view, in the kitchen all you need.

negative: the airco in the livingroom and largest sleepingroom is outdated and has hardly any function during day and night; a very simple rotor on the ceiling; the house takes on the summer heat despite efficient use of suncreens ;inside it was 10 degrees warmer; the outside diningtable is on the south side ,nice view but with only two small parasols not enough shadow and on arrival on Saturday the fridge was not on so no cool drinks untill Sunday;(easy to avoid)

Owner's Response: We thank our guest for being so straightforward. Of course we are happy with the positive remarks, these remarks have been made by other tenants as well. The negative remarks however, have never been mentioned before, not even this season although it was extremely hot in Spain since the month of May. All our guests had to cope with this extreme heat and they all took our advise to heart. Why use the south facing balcony during the hottest periods of the day, if there is a second outdoor dining set (with ample seating) facing north and in the shade (located at the same distance from kitchen). Using the south faced balcony during the hottest hours of the day, means that the blinds can not be properly used to keep the sun and warm air out of the living area. Another note worthy point is: Client has not mentioned any complaint during his stay, this is a pity, since we always strive to find solutions for problems that might arise. As to the refrigerator: There are two large fridge/freezers in the main kitchen, both of them were activated. We have 1 fridge in the small kitchen downstairs, it is hardly ever used, so clients have to activate this one themselves. Next year we will offer our clients the possibility to rent movable airco units.

Uns erwartete eine Traumvilla, sehr groß, top gepflegt und luxuriös, mit viel Platz für die ganze Familie mit Kindern.

Tolle Zimmeraufteilung mit Bad en Suite, große Küche um fantastisch gemeinsam zu kochen, große Terasse mit bezaubernden Blick auf den riesigen Pool mit der herrlichen Lounge zum verweilen und relaxen sowie die atemberaubende Aussicht.

Das perfekte Haus einer sehr sympathischen Familie, tolle Betreuung und Hilfsbereitschaft!

Einen Urlaub den wir nie vergessen. Wirklich toll!

Wij verbleven met 10 vowassenen en 5 kinderen in de villa. hebben enorm genoten van de luxueuse en verzorgde villa. Is rustig gelegen en toch niet ver van mooie stranden en winkels. iedereen had voldoende ruimte zowel binnen als buiten. heel mooi uitzicht vanop het terras. eigenaars komen op regelmatige basis het onderhoud doen van zwembad en tuin wat ook een meevaller was. een echte aanrader.

Santa Cristina d'Aro has a large number of very interesting Megalithic tombs. The old centre of Sta. Cristina d'Aro has grown around th parish church. The village buildings include interesting mansions and fortified farmhouses.

Close to St. Christina you will find the Romanesque church of Santa Maria de Bell Lloc (10th C). Nestling in the nature reserve Gavarres, the village of Romanya de la Selva is situated on a rise with an excellent panoramic vieuw of the Aro Valley, in place where time seems to have stood still. (at a 3 km distance from the villa). Among the old houses from the 17th and 18th C. there rises the small church of Sant Marti, in a late pre-Romanesque style. Near the village you can visit the Cova dén Daina, an extremely interesting megalithic burial chamber.

In Solius stands the 18th C. church of Santa Agnes, and nearby, half hidden by the Woods, is the chapel of Sant Baldir.

The villa is located in a superb position, boasting excellent views of th surrounding area, and only 25 km's from Girona Airport.
