Clean, bright, studio apartment with parking! One half block from Commercial St. in the west end, close to Joe Coffee. Absolutely fabulous location. Walk to everything! Short walk from the ferry. Steps from the Boat slip, A House, other clubs and restaurants. Art galleries a mere stone's throw away. 1 block from the Bay beach. Chill out on the exclusive use front lawn and watch Provincetown pass you by. Exclusive parking space adjacent to the unit. Association washer dryer in basement. Sunday to Sunday rental (it's a better day for travel on and off cape!) Yes- there's wifi Internet and cable TV, the review that says otherwise is now 4+ years old.
Legend has it that Bette Davis lived in this house, we know she used to perform in town, so it’s likely true. Everything about this house has been spruced up since then, and while times have changed we like to think Bette would still be comfortable here.
$75 cleaning fee for fewer than 7 night rentals.
The location was perfect. Commercial Street was literally steps away. Not only was I within walking distance of all the great West End "stuff" (Boatslip, Pied, Spiritus, Joe's), but the walk to the beach wasn't too bad either (if you like longer walks). The location earned bonus points from me because the Grand Union wasn't too far either.
The space was very open and felt surprisingly large for a studio. The kitchen could use a few more "essentials" for cooking, but everthing that was there was clean and useable. The little garden area outside was also more than I expected when renting a studio.
I will absolutely consider renting the same place again if I make P-Town part of my summer plans next year.
This is the second year I've spent a week in this unit and I enjoyed it even more this time. My only complaint last year is that a couple of the window screens were missing and in order to avoid being terrorized by mosquitos we had to keep the windows closed and run the air conditioner. This year the screens had been replaced and we had fresh Cape air the entire visit. The location couldn't be better - steps away from Joe's and the Boatslip and the walk into the center of town and MacMillan Wharf is easy. I also walked numerous times out the Breakwater and to Herring Cove from this cottage, which was a great adventure. I had a minor problem with the TV but Max, the manager walked me through the troubleshoot and I managed to fix it. He also visited me shortly after my arrival to ensure everything was in order. He also remained available via text or phone the entire time. The small kitchen is well stocked and allowed me to engage in one of my pleasures - cooking - and also saved us quite a few $$ eating out. The space is "cozy" for two but the Murphy bed folds up and allows plenty of room for a dinner guest or two. The front garden is such a great feature allowing a lovely spot for morning coffee, evening cocktails, and people watching. I can't wait till next year to book again!
This is the second year I've spent a week in this sweet studio and I enjoyed it even more this time. My only complaint last year was that there were missing window screens which necessitated having the air conditioning on or the windows closed, as the mosquitos were in high gear. They replaced all the screens and we had fresh Cape air the entire stay. As small as the kitchen is, it's well stocked and I cooked several meals, which saved a lot of money but also allowed me to engage in an activity I really enjoy. The murphy bed easily closes allowing for extra space when a visitor or two drop in. The little garden is lovely and provides the perfect spot for greeting passers by and enjoying coffee in the morning or a cocktail in the evening. The location couldn't be any better - steps from Joe's Coffee and the Boatslip. It's also a reasonable walk from MacMillan Wharf, the center of town, and even to Herring Cove and the Breakwater. The unit is clean and well-maintained and when I had a minor problem with the TV, Max the manager walked me through a fix. He also visited me shortly after my arrival to make sure everything was in order. This is a "cozy" unit (i.e. not large) but it's perfect for one or two people. I'd recommend this to anyone who's looking for a reasonably priced, cozy studio in the perfect location.
we stayed here Womens Week for the first time and we hope to stay again. It was perfect, just steps from Joe Coffee and Bubala's By The Bay both great places to relax and people watch. In the other direction is P-town Bikes just around the corner on Bradford. Quiet at night, the room spacious enough for 2, the murphy bed was comfortable, we never put it away. we stayed in a couple of nights and cooked in and watched tv on the large flat screen, used the mixer to make our own drinks. small yard with chairs, great to sit out front with coffee in mornings and chat with folks as they walk by.
A great location and well kept small cottage, however it doesn't have wifi access or cable tv so if it rains on your vacation for 4 days, it can drive you stir crazy being inside. The bed is a murphy bed and not very comfortable. The unit was clean when we arrived, however, we had to wait until later in the day to get clean sheets and towels. The agent was very nice and helpful but after an all-night flight and ferry to Ptown, I was ready for a nap but didn't have sheets or pillowcases, nor a towel for a quick shower, when we arrived. Not ideal but I understand things sometime happen.
Located close to everything Provincetown is famous for, the Boatslip, restaurants, bars, beach, Joe's Coffee, and galleries!!! You have parking for one car, a private lawn area, full kitchen and bath, and AC. Perfect for any season.
