About Jolene Clarke
Gary and I have lived in Tamarindo since 2000. We drove to Costa Rica with our son and another family from California for the adventure of a lifetime that lives on today. Upon arriving to Costa Rica after our epic three month journey through Latin America, we started a new chapter in our lives. An unlikely couple, Gary is from New Jersey and I, a native Californian, it is our love of travel and adventure that keeps us happy and laughing. Prior to moving to Costa Rica, Gary spent his first career of 30 years in Medicine and I was a teacher and Interior Designer. Once we arrived in Tamarindo laying in hammocks all day for 3 months was just not enough. So, Gary ventured into a new career in real estate to spice things up for the next 10 years. Gary retired once again in 2012 as one of the busiest, most successful and well respected realtors in our area. In 2007, when our son Brooks left for college, we were lonely and thought it might be fun to rent out one of our casitas that we used only a couple times a year for family. Little did we know how much fun it would be and the friends we would make along the way. We invite you to come be our guest and see what life is like living in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. We will show you this lovely country and Tamarindo through our eyes and give you, in our humble opinion, the best places to eat and send you on the adventure tours that best fit your vacation style. This is our family business and Gary, Brooks and I take great pleasure and pride in giving you the best vacation we can deliver. Come see us, we would love to have you as our guest. Gary, Jolene and Brooks Clarke

Why Jolene Clarke chose Tamarindo
We have been traveling to Costa Rica for over 25 years. From the moment I stepped off the airplane on our first trip here I knew we would retire here one day. What we did not know was that the house we originally built to sell would turn out to be our dream home and fulfill my life long desire to have a Bed and Breakfast. We love Tamarindo for its great beaches, sunsets, wildlife, adventure activities and of course the vast array of restaurants. We have traveled all over the world and have never found a beach town we liked more. Tamarindo is small and unspoiled and is one place in Costa Rica and the world where you can go, do and see it all in one place on your vacation. We are the perfect property for honeymooner's, babymooner's, executive surf trips and those looking for a quiet, relaxing or active getaway. Arrive as guest, leave as friends!
What makes this Villa unique
Our colonial architecture with furniture, art and accessories from our travels make for a warm, eclectic, welcoming environment. Plus, you can't beat the pool and garden areas to relax after a day at the beach or a canopy tour. You will love your 'Casitas for two,' that was decorated lovingly over the years for your pleasure and comfort. I love how our Villa has many different areas to enjoy, the pool, the rancho, the bistro area and the grand patio, something for everyone. Of course Maria's great breakfast is definitely the icing on the cake each day.

Too short of a visit
We got to stay in this amazing place for one night. Wish we could have stayed longer. The place is decorated so nice. All furnishings are high end. Kitchen stocked with all the essentials. Open bar for your enjoyment by the pool. Owners are very nice and helpful. Highly recommend! Five stars!
We enjoyed staying here very much. Jolene and Gary are supper nice and they make you feel part of their home. The decorations of the house and rooms are outstanding. The breakfast Are excellent. Love the French toast. To bad we stayed only three nights. Pictures on line are accurate. We will come back . Thank you Jolene and Gary to make our stay enjoyable. .Annie and Real
Best B&B in Tamarindo!
First off Jolene and Gary are awesome hosts and offer great recommendations on everything around. Plus they are very wonderful people to get to know!
Their place is absolutely and an oasis in the little town of Tamarindo. We felt very blessed to stay there and will definitely be back! Pura vida!
Our first time to Costa Rica could not be more perfect due to our stay at Villa Andalucia. Jolene and Gary have every detail covered and run like a well oiled machine. From booking, airport transportation, places to eat, things to do, area information etc. they have all bases covered and are fast to respond to any questions or things you may need. They truly take pride in their villa and want to make your experience there a lasting memory. Maria’s breakfast’s were excellent and it’s safe to say the place would not be complete without her. It was great getting to know them both the short time we shared with them and really had the feeling of wanting to come back again, sooner then later. Thank you Jolene and Gary.

Lovely in all ways
Hoping to return soon
Amazing guest. We LOVED Rita and Greg and hope to see them more in our future. Incredible people that we were honored to host.
We have a private surf instructor on staff who also does snorkel tours and has the only spearfishing lesson around. Brooks also does sports fishing tours on the new Boat, the 'Pica Pica.' For you birders and nature lovers out there, Brooks can arrange special wildlife tours for you in the afternoons or take you to the incredible Palo Verde Wetlands.
