Beautiful, charming, warm, and welcoming!

What a wonderful house to call home during our recent trip to Pennsylvania. The spacious rooms and outdoor areas allowed us to enjoy activities with our family and friends. My family especially enjoyed the fire pit area! Local markets and stores provided us ample opportunities to sample and enjoy Pa. Dutch cuisine. We also enjoyed visiting museums, farms, breweries, and of course the antique stores. We hope we can come back for another visit!

Everything and More!! Perfect for our family!!

  • 5 of 5

Our stay in this lovely home was perfect for our family. We had 4 couples and two singles for a group of 10 plus a baby. It was grand for each couple to have their own room and restroom and for the two singles to have their own restroom on the top floor with their own suite. We were gathered for our daughter's wedding in a nearby town and we chose to do her bridal party photos in the back with the beautiful setting. It was lovely. Our daughter had on a vintage dress and so the pictures were fitting in a vintage house. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed. We were greeted with sweet pastries and cereals and milk the first day. That was a nice surprise. There was even a gift for the baby. The AC worked beautifully and the grand downstairs had a great meeting area for eating as well as gathering in the parlor. We just we could have stayed longer after the wedding. It is a great place for a family reunion. Thank you Adamstown Inn. You went beyond our expectations.

Character and comfort!

  • 5 of 5
Verified Stay

Let me start by saying that this house makes you feel special.

You feel like you've stepped into another era, but with all the modern amenities!!! It's 200% stocked, and I should mention there were smore kits, mini cereal boxes, a jug of fresh milk, bagels and muffins set out for us when we arrived! In addition, it was 80 degrees outside, but inside was completely cooled off and comfortable. All fans and ACs were on! Loved having the option of fan or ACs too!

The house is so incredibly interesting and beautiful. Introguing antiques and knick knacks all around! Each bedroom has a distinct color scheme consistent with the home's overall aesthetic. The beds were comfortable, the WIFI, cable, washer/dryer, etc all worked great, and there were a zillion bathrooms! (Maybe not a zillion but like 5!) The master bath jacuzzi was spacious and clean.

The outside space is beautiful: the green house is just a cool hangout space complete with picnic tables, lounge area, and BBQ pit. There are large grassy areas for kids to play or run around, as well as a nice back stone patio. The porch is to die for. Beautiful wood floors, dining area, lounge chairs, and greenery. It was just an inspiring space.

The town was a bit of a dud since most of the stores are closed Tuesday and Wednesday and we were there Monday through Wednesday :(

So if you want to plan a chill local day, make sure to keep that in mind.

It was close to the Amish attractions and Dutch wonderland. About an hour from Hershey as well as Crayola Experience.

Overall had a very nice time!

Beautiful

  • 5 of 5

We spent just a few shorts days at the Adamstown Inn cottage in late June. The house was perfect for our family of four adults, two teens and a dog. Actually, we had more than enough space and my daughter did get a little lost once trying to find a specific bathroom. (Taylor jokingly warned us of the possibility) As others have stated the house is exactly as described online and pictures really don't do it justice. It's gorgeous and the grounds are perfectly maintained. The owners and caretakers are super hospitable and are literally just up the road if you need them...which we did when the coffee pot exploded. We had a new one within hours. We really liked the location in proximity to other attractions besides the amazing antiquing in Adamstown. We had enough time for Hershey park and went into Lancaster one day (we went on a Tuesday when the Central Market is open, which I highly suggest checking out, I believe it's open Friday and Saturday as well) both short drives from the house. It's a lovely home to vacation in, I definitely recommend staying at the Adamstown Inn Cottage. We're already trying to make plans to return in the fall.

Beautiful Home!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed in this beautiful and impressive home for a long weekend. The house was perfect for us, well maintained and very clean. The on line description was totally accurate. We had everything we needed to make it a great weekend. The furnishings in the house are beautiful and you can clearly see the house is loved and cared for. During our stay we enjoyed visiting some of the many antique shops in Adamstown and had a great day in Lancaster. We also had a delicious dinner at the Black Horse Tavern, which was the owner's recommendation. I would love to come back and we would absolutely recommend this house to friends and family. Thank you!

A wonderful place to stay!

This property is amazing! My husband, children and grandchildren stayed for a long weekend to visit Amish Country. The home provided just what we were looking for! The beds were comfortable and the home is furnished beautifully with lots of interesting antiques. It was exactly as described and we couldn't have been more pleased. Thank you for sharing this lovely place with us. James and Trenace Rice and family.
