BONUS LAGOON VIEWS: Eight-mile long Little Lagoon is behind the condo - views from both bedrooms. Bring your jet skis and fishing rods and walk three blocks down to West Pass OR to the public dock just 2 minutes out your back door. The kids will love fending off the pinfish, chasing minnows and hermit crabs, or dropping down a crab basket ~ and the adults love the fishing action and sunsets.

LOCATION: Sanibel complex lies in a low-density, mainly residential area where you won't have to fight for a spot on the beach, but is only 2.5 miles west of Hwy 59 which is the hub of activity and restaurants in Gulf Shores. A 5-minute drive to the Super Walmart on Ft. Morgan Rd at 59 will meet all your shopping needs, including groceries and beach supplies! Approximately 25 restaurants within a 5-minute drive, plus putt putt golf, the zoo, and Waterville Amusement Park, Movie theatre, etc.

BEACH ACCESS/boardwalk is directly across the street, a few houses to left.

BRING: your personal items, plus beach towels, additional beach chairs if needed, umbrella and sunscreen.

WE PROVIDE: bath towels, linens, hand soap, dishwashing soap, and a roll of TP for each bathroom - PLUS 2 folding/sand beach chairs, a rolling beach cart and rolling cooler provided.

The kitchen is fully outfitted with salt, pepper, sugar, dishtowels/hotpads, cleaners, dishes, glasses, cookware, toaster, microwave, blender, etc. Refrigerator has water/ice-dispenser in the door! There is also an iron/ironing board. E-mail for further specifics.

call 832.758.2331 for questions! I grew up in the Pensacola area (next town to the east) and adore these beaches and being on the water. There is NO WHERE I would rather be! I learned how to swim here, fished with my dad, lifeguarded local beaches, and just love digging my toes in the sand! I married a New Yorker, and it only took ONE visit to the panhandle beaches for him to fall - hook, line and sinker - for the stunning beaches and the laid-back attitude that goes with it! We visit our condos at least six times a year, and know the area very well.

Gulf Shores is is the quintessential beach town - still quaint - yet has everything you need from a beach town for a great vacation! We grew tired of the traffic and hustle and bustle in Destin and other beach areas. Most importantly, we chose Gulf Shores for the sugar white sands, crystal clear water, and plenty to do (or NOT do). The location of this condo just can't be beat: close to everything, but just out of the fray of any traffic.

What makes this condo unique

Fishing in the Pass or in Little Lagoon behind the condo, walking to Bahama Bob's for happy hour or dinner, being able to take a jog down West Beach without fear of being run over! I also love the super fast wi-fi for my laptop on a rainy day. The views of BOTH the Gulf AND Little Lagoon are simply gorgeous!

Perfect getaway at the last minute!

Ever have that vacation come together JUST when you need it the most? You're at the cracking point, but you take yourself on a break just in time? That's what this weekend was for us, and Dana's condo was such a scrumptious setting. Absolutely everything was fantastic. Everyone we encountered was so nice, the weather was perfect, and we could feel the stress dropping away moment by moment. Pelicans swooped by as we sat on the balcony, enjoying the view. We watched a group set up for a wedding on the beach, which was fun! The Lagoon Pass was everything you described. Our daughter was enthralled. Egrets walked within 20 feet of us, seagulls left us alone (!), and there were shells all over the place to collect. We will be back, definitely. Thanks again for everything - the bottle of wine was appreciated!

Good times

Our first visit to Gulf Shores was a great one! We stayed in this awesome condominium with spectacular views. It's a short pleasant stroll to beach and comes stocked with beach chairs and toys.. We would definitely stay here again. We made a couple trips to beach a day sometimes three so kiddos could go crabbing at night so I would recommend a lot more towels/washcloths. Mattresses were firm. Lots of parking available but need to request a parking pass in advance for each vehicle. Thanks Dana for sharing your beautiful vacation home!

Amazing View. Awesome Condo!

This was our first time to stay at Sanibel 1605. Dana the owner was wonderful. She answered any questions we had and was quick to do so. Her communication with her renters is top notch!

We loved the view when we walked in the door. The closer you got to the balcony the better it was! The set up of the living/dining & kitchen areas allowed you to look out at the ocean while cooking, lounging on the sectional or sitting at the table for dinner! We cooked lots of meals in the fully stocked kitchen & the kids enjoyed the SONOS system to listen to music. The rooms were spacious, beds were comfy and bathrooms were big with plenty of space. The half bath was convenient so you didn't have to bother others who were resting in the bedrooms.

The walk to the beach access was quick & easy. We took advantage of the beach chairs & sand toys in the outdoor storage. We spent lots of time on the balcony! We would have enjoyed a table for eating or sitting at with a laptop on the balcony.

We explored the 'Pass' thanks to the info from Dana. We waded in the water and caught hermit crabs! You do need to pay to park & it fills up fast but it was worth the $5 to hang out in the calm water and not worry too much about the waves taking the kids down! (it is in walking distance but with chairs/beach gear & kids it was easier to drive!)

We really enjoyed our stay at Sanibel. The pool isn't very deep so keep that in mind if you have kids who like to dive/jump in. It was always clean and not too crowded which was nice. Thanks so much Dana! The welcome gift was appreciated too! We love Gulf Shores!

Can't recommend enough. Owner is great. Unit feels like you're the first ones to be there. Super clean. Well-appointed decor...owner has taken great care to put in nice furnishings that are actually usable too!

Stunning Condo in Perfect Location

Absolutely the hardest place we've ever left. It was a true break and beautiful! Our family of 4 felt right at home (and had PLENTY of room). The perfect balance of comfort and decor and space! The condo is immaculately clean, expertly stocked with every essential you could need and with amazing views. Our weather was dicey but the condo was so delightful that none of us minded at all! We just sat on the balcony and listened to the waves with a beverage and a book in hand! Loved our beach walks to town, card games, and especially watching storms roll in over the Gulf with peeks of sunrise and sunset between the clouds.

Thank you for a truly wonderful couple of days. We would never even consider staying somewhere else the next time we visit Gulf Shores! and Dana is seriously the best!! So quick to reply and went WAY above and beyond!

Awesome Views

This was a family vacation, our first booking with VRBO and everyone enjoyed this condo and want to return. The views were incredible out front, with the gulf and on the other side with the lagoon. We have stayed in numerous condo's over the years and everyone could not believe the space in this one. Nice, open and not cramped like some others. The owner was available and very helpful for any questions that may arise. She provided excellent instructions on all the information and was very thorough to cover everything. We will definitely look for this one in the future!

We do NOT force weekly in spring break or summer, but you must align your dates so that there is either NO GAP between you and the next guest - or AT LEAST 3 nights' gap. So if there is a 4 or 5 night gap between bookings, you would need to take all 4 or 5 nights. Or if there is a 7-nt gap, you can take the first 3 or 4 nights - or the LAST 3 or 4 nights, but not 3 nights right in the middle. Always leave either NO gap - OR EITHER a 3-nt gap or more. Shoulder seasons are more flexible but check with me first at 832.758.2331 or dana.beachcondo@yahoo.com if you aren't sure about your dates as I have other (identical) condos in this building also.
**HOLIDAY and/or FESTIVAL RATES MAY APPLY and I usually do not allow a check-in OR check-out ON an actual holiday as it makes my calendar difficult to work with.
~ MINIMUM BOOKING AGE = 23, no spring breakers, bachelor parties, etc or all-adult groups unless you are ALL over 23.
~ MAX of 2 parking passes provided and one has been included in your quote.
