Peace and quiet, great location and views, views, views!!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The cottage itself was clean, comfortable, well-appointed, and offered fantastic views. We loved climbing on the ridge right behind the cottage that had great 360 degree views of the area. Bella the cat is a good friend and the horses were sociable too! Food is close-by, with a nice pub in walking distance and the Roaches and all its many walks are super close too. This was a perfect spot to take short day-trips too, such as to Chatsworth House (highly recommend) and Liverpool. Lastly, everyone on the farm was extremely nice and we had a great time talking with everyone.
What a lovely place! A cosy place to stay with fantastic views from the hills around. The owners are really lovely and will answer any questions you may have. Lovely local pubs not too far away. Would definitely stay again.
Stayed for two nights in April, the place was very clean, the location was picture perfect and the owners were very friendly. The room is much bigger than it looks in the photos and the bathroom was immaculate. Enjoyed the stay very much and would stayed again!
