The lodge had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Only downside is the B road leading to the lodge Park was too long!
The lodge was just what we wanted for our few days relaxation .. perfectly equipped .. all you need to take is towels
The wooden hot tub was fab and made us think about changing ours to one of them 😁?
The little shop / cafe on site had lots of essentials which is great
We had dinner at the Kilchrenan Inn which was amazing and all the better for being a dog friendly place
I'd definately recommend the site for other couples with or without dogs ! Our kids came too but they are 24 and 25 (!!) and they loved just chilling out too .. not sure if there's much for younger children though
We will definately be looking at booking up again
Totally spoiled with weather, sun & blue sky for the duration of our stay. The site by Loch Awe was lovely, quiet & remote, exactly what we wanted. Cabin perfectly adequate, and could take our family dog which was perfect. Hot tub took a little getting used to, but was great to have. Would recommend this cabin
The photos really do not do this cabin justice as it is beautiful. It is very remote so I would take the owners advice and stock up on your way with food supplies (we didn't starve). We had an evening meal at the Loch View Inn (only open thurs-sun) and although dubious at first we all really enjoyed it (the sticky toffee pud was delish). Do try out the hot tub, awesome. Beautiful scenery, walks, we had a day in Oban (took just less than an hour to get there). We would definitely stay again!! Thank you :-)
I'm just sorry I didn't have time to write in your guest book. If you fancy trip away from the hustle and bustle then this is it.
Stayed here a week with my partner and some friends. Enjoyed the tranquil surroundings and the cabin was perfect! Lovely and cosy. Would definitely stay again!
Had a great time at the log cabin would definitely recommend to family and friends.
This unique location was created by the forestry commission as a place of tranquillity, amid outstanding scenery. In addition to the peace and quiet of the log cabin locations the surrounding area provides an amazing natural playground with forests, burns, rivers, castles, mountains and lochs to explore and enjoy. The area has a proliferation of walks, cycle routes and local attractions, has an abundance of wildlife and is a world renowned destination for anglers
