Our stylish and spacious two storey townhouse is conveniently located just one block back from the beautiful, award winning Grace Bay Beach and the upscale Village.
Within a 5-7 minute walk from the house you will find Restaurants for all tastes, Bars, Coffee shops Boutiques, Gift shops, a Sports Bar and Frozen Yogurt shop, Banks, and Hire shops for Cars, Bikes, Excursions and Dive shop. Just a few minutes further along is a wonderful Supermarket.
There is no need to hire a car as there is so much to do nearby including snorkelling directly off the powder white sand of the main beach, or you can walk along the bay for about 20 minutes to Coral Reef Gardens.
Our local agent is always available via the cell phone we provide, to answer any questions you may have while on the island.
Travertine marble floors cover the entire 1720 sq ft of our stylish and restful holiday home. After a peaceful night's sleep in a luxurious bed with quality linens, sip your morning coffee on the upstairs deck overlooking lush tropical gardens and the large pool.
The open plan downstairs area with its high ceilings and screened porch is ideal for a relaxing cocktail after a day at the beach. Preparing dinner is a pleasure in the well equipped kitchen which has granite surfaces and breakfast bar. The American style fridge/freezer has an ice dispenser and filtered water.
There is central Air Conditioning, but with the cooling trade winds and ceiling fans throughout, it is really only needed at the hottest times of year.
HOUSE AND GROUNDS
On the upper level there are 2 luxuriously appointed bedrooms, one with a king size and one with a queen size bed. Both have vaulted cedar ceilings with overhead fans. The king size is next to the large family bathroom which has a tub with travertine surrounds, double basins, a toilet and shower cubicle. The queen bedroom has a shower above the tub, basin and toilet within its own en suite bathroom. Leading off the larger bedroom is a wooden deck overlooking the pool and lush gardens.
From the covered entry porch step into the airy open plan ground level. Behind a door is the washer/dryer. The gourmet kitchen leads to a dining area, comfy sitting/TV area, cloakroom, and then through to the screened porch which looks out onto the gardens. A secure screened door leads out to the pool.
There is one parking space (deposit required for gate remote). There is also plenty of free parking on the little road outside.
All linens, towels and beach towels are provided. Also beach chairs, books and board games.
A Starter Supply of the following will be left by the house staff:
Toilet roll, dishwasher tabs, dish detergent, paper towels and hand soap. Depending on what previous guests have left there should also be some cooking oil, herbs etc.
This gated community consists of 4 blocks of 6 town homes surrounding the beautiful tropical oasis and large shared pool. Many of our neighbours are full time residents who go out to work during the day so you will often have the entire pool and lovely new sun loungers to yourselves!
As there is a steep internal staircase with no stair gates, we consider the house unsuitable for toddlers or babies who are mobile. Also the pool, which is just steps away from the house is Not Fenced.
Children must be supervised by the pool and we respect our neighbours (and vice versa) so we do ask that noise is kept to a minimum.
The island is relatively small and if you wish to see more of it you will need to hire a car. (On booking we will send you recommendations of hire companies). The west of the island is very thinly populated other than one exclusive resort, so we recommend investigating the south and east of the island. You will find some lovely quiet bays, windsurfing, several good restaurants and the unmissable turquoise waters of Chalk Sound within the National Park.
More Information about the house and island are provided in folders in the house.
We are recently retired empty nesters and live just outside London (UK) though much of our time is spent travelling.
We fell in love with 'Provo' in January 2014 and soon returned to buy a home where we can spend holiday time with our family and friends.
When we can't be there ourselves, we are happy for you to stay as our guests and experience this wonderful tropical island lifestyle!
Keri purchased this house in 2014
We chose this town home because of its convenient yet quiet location, large pool surrounded by lush gardens, high quality interior and a calm atmosphere.
It is very important to us to not have to get into the car every day. We love the fact that we can walk for just a few minutes and take a dip in the sea, then enjoy a cool drink at one of the many beach bars, or dine out in style in some of the best restaurants on the island.
When travelling, we love to have lots of space to spread out and this home provides everyone with a their own space in which to relax (or work if necessary)!!
Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home. Keri provided great communication and information prior to our stay and the the local management was very responsive to our needs. The home is spacious, modern and very nicely furnished, with great linens, appliances and kitchen ware and granite and marble throughout. There is a washer and dryer which was handy coming home from the beach. In addition to being out and about, we were able to enjoy some quiet time in the house as well as by the pool. There were never more than a couple people at the pool. The beautiful Grace Bay beach, a large grocery store and Grace Bay town area are all within a 10 minute walk and there are lots of dining and shopping choices within a short walk. A 20 minute walk down the beach gets you to the Bight Reef where you can snorkel right off the beach.
Keri arranged for a taxi to meet us at the airport and had drinks and a snack waiting for us when we arrived at the home. She also provided a helpful "what to do" guide and a cell phone for local use. This is a great place to stay if you want some extra space and a lot more peace and quiet than you would experience by staying in the large beach front resorts.
Our family of 5 stayed at Keri's beautiful home earlier this month and we had a great experience. From the beginning Keri was prompt with answering all of our questions. The booking process was seamless. The home and grounds are exactly as shown and the location was excellent. It was a short walk to stunning Grace Bay beach as well as to the village for shopping/dining etc. We rented a van for our entire stay and loved being able to tour the island. We saw some of the most beautiful beaches we have ever seen. We enjoyed shelling, fishing and parasailing. The whole family also loved snorkeling (from the shore at Coral Gardens and with Caicos Dream Tours). Dining options are excellent on the island, we ate like kings all week:) All in all it was a magical week in Providenciales - thank you Keri for sharing your home with us!!!
Everything was as expected upon arrival and perfect size for a family of 4 along with a one-year old infant. Not baby-proof, but forewarned and the Owner assisted by providing baby gates for the stair landings. Everything you need for your stay is available. I would suggest that in addition to the beach paraphernalia already provided, a small cooler would be nice so you could bring some ice cold refreshments. Short walk to the beach, restaurants and shops including a supermarket. Very handy. Clean unit and well maintained grounds with a nice size swimming pool and plenty of seating. There is an event complex next door that hosts dinners/parties on weekends so it can be a little loud until 2am but this is no fault of the Owner (just location). Highly recommended for a reasonable alternative to the pricey T&C accommodations along the beach.
We arrived easily thanks to recommendation to use Majestic Taxi to the lovely accommodations of Grace Bay Villages. The place was nice, relaxing, clean and comfortable. Easy access to many amenities such as beach, shopping, groceries and dining. Use taxi for first day of grocery shopping. Too far to carry. We did find food, and liquor to be very expensive. Buy duty free!!!! Our favorite restaurant was Fresh Catch and we also found ourselves at Danny Buoy's a few times. Shopping for souvenirs wasn't bad, but clothing and other specialty items were spendy. The Conch farm was a fun educational adventure. We rented a car and checked out island. Driving on left is weird, but we did fine. We ate at the Conch Shack and enjoyed conch. Beach was 3 blocks away from condo and we set up by the public beach and stole some spots at the Sands Resort when spaces were open. Beach was soft like a white flour and the water an incredible aqua blue. The beach went on for miles, so it was nice to get our daily walks in and a few stops at some of the bars and restaurants along the way. The beach out front doesn't offer a lot of snorkeling things to see, but a walk down the beach you could find some spots and if willing to get in a car there were other bays. We did the full day snorkeling cruise with Caribbean Dream Vacations and had a great experience with our Captain and other staff. Watch out thou, the Rum Punch sneaks up on you! LOL The sun was very intense and after 2 days we were pretty burnt and had to back down on our exposure. Do be careful as it didn't feel hot necessarily air wise, but the sun is strong.. Use 50 SPF!!! The house manual was easy to read and we were met at the house by a lovey lady. Took longer for her to get as we were led to believe we would be met by someone, but it was a really busy day for her and that was understandable. Because the house guide was easy to follow, we found it a simple process of getting acclimated with the house and property and easy check out too. It was a great experience and welcome anyone to rent the Kendall's condo and enjoy time in paradise. It was a fabulous vacation! When flying out, try to do a week day. Airport was a disaster and hours standing in line just to get to security. They finally came on got us in line as our plane was loading. Give yourself plenty of time. Your island is beautiful! Some in our group would prefer being directly on beach, I didn't find it an issue. Grill was great addition thanks!!!!
Very quiet and clean place. Fully equipped and very convenient. Close to everything. Great for families with children.
Keri's home was very enjoyable. It's spacious, clean and cozy. The community pool is right in the backyard, and very quiet. The home is walking distance to beach and restaurants. A+ experience!
From the moment we arrived, we were made extremely comfortable. We were greeted by Pamela, the property manager, and were briefed on all of the amenities of the house. There are a ton of places nearby to explore. It is a quick walk to the beautiful beach of Grace Bay and restaurants. The home is well equipped with everything you need though to cook which is what we did most of the days that we were there. We found the Graceway Gourmet grocery store to be very convenient (although a little bit pricey). When we weren't cooking, The Infiniti Bar was one of our favorite spots to go to - it is located at the Grace Bay Club and is only about a 15 minute walk either along the main road or along the beach - it has a wonderful view for sunset and amazing Lionfish tacos. The CrackPot Kitchen is also a convenient spot to go to as it is right next to the Palmyra Town Homes and has Happy Hour specials. I would highly recommend staying at the property! It is perfect for 2 couples or a family. We really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to go back!
The house is just a 5-7 minute walk from the beautiful Grace Bay Beach which is often voted best beach in the world! Here you will find wonderful snorkelling, swimming and powdery white sand for sunbathing.
Smith's Reef (about 7 minutes by car) is a renowned Dive site, and even closer Coral Reef Gardens is great for those wishing to try snorkelling for the first time.
Walk along the beach day or night to casual bars and restaurants. A more diverse selection of dining as well as boutiques, gift shops, banks, car hire and dive shops can be found in the upscale village (also just a 5-7 minute walk). There is a fantastic gourmet supermarket just a little further along.
This is a small island and nowhere is more than a day trip. A short car ride will take you to tennis courts, the highly regarded Golf Club and the ferry to the wild and lovely North Caicos.
You may also want to investigate the very quiet south side of the island which has a couple of good restaurants, small beaches and the stunning turquoise water of Chalk Sound National Park. A guided tour on the pontoon boat is highly recommended.
Perhaps try kiteboarding on Long Bay, or fly fishing on Flamingo Lake or Turtle Tail. (We recommend a four wheel drive for this section of the island as the roads are mostly dirt.)
Many of our guests are happy to spend their time closer to home and simply lounge by the pool, have a massage at one of the big hotels - throw a couple of steaks on the grill or walk into the village for a burger and live music at the sports bar (or watch televised sports!). If you wish to eat out - French, Italian, Pizza, Indian, Sushi, Frozen Yogurt or just coffee and cake you will find it all within an easy stroll.
There is a map and folder of recommendations in the house.
