Panarea, 10 sleeps, Terrace, Sea View, within walking distance from Restaurants
A Classic Aeolian house with a huge panoramic terrace, a few steps from the tiny port, shops and restaurants of Panarea, the smallest and the most fashionable of the Aeolian Islands.
Casa Antonia consists of 3 UNITS and all have access to the fresh and relaxing terrace (70 sq. m.) that offers stunning view of the sea and the Island of Stromboli on the horizon. The terrace is equipped with seating, deck chairs and two outdoor kitchens with barbecue and sink.
The FIRST UNIT (60 sq. m.) consists of a separate kitchen with dishwasher, oven and washing machine; a living room with air-conditioning and two single beds; a double room with air-conditioning, and a bathroom with shower.
The SECOND UNIT (20 sq. m.) has two single beds (that can be united); a built-in closet with fridge; a mezzanine with double bed, and a bathroom with shower.
From the terrace a stair with few steps lead to the THIRD UNIT, a tiny dépendance (12 sq. m.) with a double sofa bed and a bathroom.
Casa Antonia is an ideal place to enjoy the Aeolian Islands all year round. In autumn and spring Panarea is an oasis of peace and tranquillity, while in summer it is a popular destination for the rich and famous arrive on luxury yachts in search of glamour and remoteness at the same time.
Are you with only with 2 or 4 people? You can also rent only the first unit, which we call CASA ANTONIETTA, for a reduced price.

Very nice stay
Very nice stay. Beautiful place. Nice and efficient welcome from Celeste. Very nice view regardless the house which is just a front of the house. Good location in panaera ( 10 mins by walk from the center and 45 min from the only beach). However I would not recommend the place with familly ( too expensive, to jet set..., not enough authentic).I would recommend vulcano, salina or lipari. Connection between the island is easy but can be complicated ( delay, boat cancelled...). To eat: the tratorria paolino next to the house is very good.
NIce place with room for improvement
We, three adults and three children, rented the whole house and would recommend it that way. The property has a nice terrace and a great view of Stromboli and is very spacious and well equipped. The kitchen was also well equipped only the coffeemakers were old and not inviting. The refrigerator was leaking a little bit. The barbecues on the terrace were in our view not usable, they were rusty with spider webs inside and not inviting for outdoor cooking. One chair at the table was broken. We did not have hot or warm water in all showers, only in the master bathroom in the main unit.
What we underestimated is the traffic at the house - the scooters and Apes were noisy but that is Italian life. Overall we did enjoy the location in the middle of the little town and within walking distance to all shops and nice restaurants. There are also vendors for vegetables and fish in the road.
The main beach (Zimmari) is about one hour footwalk from the house.
Apart from our complaints above we felt very comfortable at Casa Antonia and had a lovely stay on Panarea.
Amazing terrace and views
The location is great nearby the mini markets and restaurants. It's a 10 min walk to the port. The terrace is ample with a great view to Vulcano and Basiluzzo. The kitchen has all the amnesties and it's well equipped for people who love cooking. The 2 master bedrooms have private bathrooms with good showers and water pressure. One of them it's in an alcove and you need to be careful going up and down the steep stairs- they are really steep.
The separate apartment in the courtyard is a bit basic and shabby and it was quite dirty upon arrival.
The person who met us at arrival provides really basic support without much help. There is no wifi and tv even though it is advertised on the web site.
The 2 bbq are great but were so dirty we needed some effort to clean them before using them.
Overall it is the terrace what makes the staying very good. The house is basic and at the end it's great to spend time outside.
Thank you for your review, although I think this house does not deserve 3 stars. You also say that you stay was great. In the advert it is clear that the third unit is more simple than the rest. It surprises me that it was non sufficiently clean, in any case Celeste would clean it again if you can show it to her. WiFi and TV were never advertised.
Panarea is the smallest and the most fashionable of the Aeolian islands but also the the most fashionable island in Sicily. In autumn and spring Panarea is an oasis of peace and tranquillity, while in summer it is a popular destination for the rich and famous arrive on huge yachts and by helicopter in search of glamour and remoteness at the same time. Panarea has 2 renown clubs that are crowded mostly the first three weeks of August. The terrace of Hotel Raya is the place to be for the jet set, and in August its disco attracts visitors from all the islands. To move, people use to take electric cabs or go by feet. Panarea has an area of just 3,400 square metres, and is 11,5 miles far from the main Aeolian island of Lipari. It has a beautiful coastline, crystal-clear waters where you can snorkel above columns of bubbles exuded by volcanic fumaroles.
