A modern two bedroom townhouse within minutes of the town centre amenities. The house has a small walled garden and parking. The ground floor comprises an open plan kitchen / lounge area with breakfast bar, oak & glass table & L shaped sofa. The kitchen provides an induction hob, fridge with freezer compartment, dishwasher & washer/dryer. There is oak flooring throughout the ground floor. The first floor comprises a double bedroom with family bathroom and a twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Both bedrooms have plenty of storage. The house is light & airy and has gas central heating. Within a very short walk of Ringwood's shops & restaurants & a short drive to the New Forest, Bournemouth & Salisbury which offer both shopping & places of historical interest. Towels and bedlinen are provided.

Quaint 2 bedroom house in RIngwood.

We found the property to be pretty much as listed. A tidy,modern 2 bedroom house, one room en suite which we found to be a blessing. The facilities within the house were all more than adequate, cooker fridge tv dishwasher....even a washing machine, though I dare not ask the wife to use it!! The bedrooms we found to be extremely suitable, offering excellent storage and dressing facilities. All beds very comfortable which always helps.The shower in the bathroom runs off the boiler I believe and was powerful, warm and user friendly. There is a small courtyard and with us being fortunate with the weather you felt you could have been in a French backstreet.

Ringwood itself is a quiet town with great eating places and local bars. Many we visited....hic!

The location of the property is ideal for visiting Bournemouth,Poole Christchurch etc, all a 15/20 minute drive away. Karen was kind enough to let us bring our small terrier, who settled in great to the house and surrounding area.

On my return I have recommended the property and location to friends and family, and we would hope to re visit the same place next year, as a family or couple.

Perfect for family get away

We stayed here Autumn half Term with our 4 and 6 year olds. It was great place with the children loving that they had their own en-suite shower room. The downstairs open plan was great and we found the house was well stocked with everything we needed as a home from home. It’s location is great, with lots going on in the town (and takeaways if you are after them) and close enough to all the touristy things. We used this as a base for Peppa Pig’s World which was only 20 minutes away. Perfect! Others have mentioned parking- we have a large 4x4 and managed to park up without any problems.

Lack of information, TV inoperable & bedroom size

The place was clean but badly presented. The information folder only contained information on security access numbers, TV operating instructions (which were outdated, as TV had recently been changed) and the owner's mobile number. I was unable to enjoy a trouble free stay because of the time spent trying to resolve the issues directly related to a non working TV, lack of instructions re the oven and washing machine. There were no specific instructions re refuse. I arrived on Friday and the TV was not fixed until 7pm on Monday.

The ironing board is very unstable - the legs are no wider than the board & no cradle for the iron. This resulted in the iron toppling off the board.

The bedrooms are arranged such that the master bedroom contains two single beds whilst the smaller bedroom the double bed. I suffered several bruises to my legs caused by the protruding sharp end of the double bed, as there was little room to move round or open the cupboard doors. (clock radio no instructions & inoperable).

The fridge had been set to a high setting & fresh salad items were frozen and damaged.

There were no instructions for exiting through security gates (without first walking round & opening with access number) - perhaps the unlabelled device left on the bench may have been relevant. However by this time it was easier to walk rather than waste more time on lengthy delays waiting for replies to mobile calls.

A reply to an offer of £100 and subsequent texts to the owner have not been received to date.

Definitely the worst rental I have experienced although it could have been good.

Owner's Response: Some people are impossible to please..... There was indeed an issue with the TV reception when the lady arrived on Friday night. I returned her call & tried to give guidance over the phone to possible issues but was not able to fix the problem - I did indicate that there was both a DVD player & Apple TV box to provide viewing but this was rebuffed. I drove to the house on Saturday and fixed the TV, gave her instructions on the rubbish & showed her how to operate the washing machine. The TV worked all day Sunday but sadly ceased to get reception on Monday morning again. A serviceman was called and fixed the problem the same day - a problem with the dish due to the recent storm. The bedrooms are arranged the way they are (which is exactly as they are shown on the website) in order to be able to get two single beds in the second room, otherwise it would only sleep 3 - not useful for most family stays. The fridge temperature is easily adjusted using the dial inside if you feel it is too cold. The codes to gain access to the gates from the outside are provided when the booking is confirmed. I have never felt it necessary to provide written instructions for exiting the property as there are two GIANT buttons on the wall next to the gates which you push to exit or the key button on the intercom system by the front door does exactly the same thing & there are people coming & going all day using exactly these buttons. The last sentence is a complete untruth..... when the TV didn't work for the first night I offered her compensation of £100 to which I received a tirade requesting £200. I paid a sum in the middle at the same time as the release of the damage deposit & had a text from the lady to say she had received it in her bank account. I am always more than happy to help in any way and if there are problems I do my very best to resolve issues as quickly as possible, I feel very disappointed that Jean did not enjoy her stay. I feel in this instance it was not a great experience for either of us.

last minute New year break

We are grateful to have been able to book relatively last minute for a New Forest. The sun was shining throughout our stay enabling the New Forest to shine in its splendour. The townhouse was perfect for us - family of 4 with a dog. It is small but perfect for a few days relaxation - perhaps if the weather had not been great it may have seemed a little tight, but we spent our time outdoors and loved our stay. The was clean and comfortable with all the necessary amenities. Karen was quick in responding to the few questions we did have. Only thing to note is parking is tight - we had two cars - one can park in the small space in front of the house, the other just in front of it and close to the wall to allow cars to pass...worked for us as we had small cars but may be tight for larger cars.

Ringwood was a convenient location - have a meal at the Noisy Lobster round the corners. On NY eve we spent a lovely evening at the local pub with live music and a great atmosphere.

We would definitely return to this delightful townhome on the edge of the Forest.

Very happy with our stay!!!

The location was perfect for us to explore the new forest and take a trip to the Isle of Wight. The property is in a great location, easy access to shops and walking distance to the local supermarket. Really enjoyable stay. Thanks

Nicely located property with reasonable quality fittings

Stayed for a week in August. The property is located in a small quiet gated community, is well equipped and has reasonable quality fittings. There is a lovely courtyard seating area which is quite private. The property has its own parking but there is restricted space to manoeuvre although we managed all right with an estate car. A couple of minutes walk to shops, restaurants and bars. Well located for touring the area especially the New Forest although main roads can be very busy. It was a really pleasant place to stay. The property was clean and has been reasonably maintained.
