An original 18th century farmhouse which has been kindly renovated in keeping with the traditional style and now with the additions of modern day living.

Beautiful antiques of historic trullo value are found dotted around which all adds to the traditional character and uniqueness of this property.

However it is ideally situated close to local towns and for exploring Puglia.

The lovely Italian owners, Martino and Tonia have thought of everything here to make your stay very enjoyable.

They live about 1km away and Tonia will happily make fresh pasta for you, focaccia or bread in the wooden burning oven.

You can practise your pizza making skills or barbecue fresh local produce.

Amazing Holiday in a amazing Trullo

  • 5 of 5

We spent a lovely 2 weeks at this beautiful trullo.

The traditional trullo, which was beautifully renovated by the owner Martino has lovely original features and quality furniture throughout.

All in keeping and much prettier than a modern style. I am still amazed at how cool the trullo was, the design certainly works.

We were a family of 6 and having the new additional shower room in the separate trullo certainly helped.

Many of our days where spent around the pool area. The peace and privacy here we all enjoyed and the pool was always clean.

Tonia the owner stays about 5 minutes away and kindly came to make us fresh pasta and focaccia in the wood oven.

The wi-fi worked well and the trullo itself had everything we needed.

We enjoyed picking fruit from the trees and the olive oil that is produced here is one of the best I have tasted, delicious.

Everything is well maintained both inside and outside the trullo.

All the local towns are wonderful to explore, Locorotondo is the closest at just a few kilometers away and we spent many nights here enjoying the summer festivals

Thank you Susan for the excellent service and welcome pack when we arrived.

She was always available to answer any questions we had, we will certainly be back next year!

Look foward to seeing you soon xx

Character, charm and relaxation

  • 4 of 5

We took our 3 y.o and the grandparents to stay for a week. It was the perfect location and property for a very relaxing stay. The property is tucked away in a rural setting and the pool and outdoor living is the centrepiece. The accommodation is full of historic character and charm and has all the necessities for a self-catered stay. The property is clean and well maintained. We are also very grateful to Susan and Tonia (owner) for making us feel very welcome - nothing was too much trouble. Tonia treated us to two fantastic meals. Fresh pasta and focaccia to die for. A real treat. Highly recommend Puglia and Trullo Bianco. Thank you.

The outside space is fantastic with great pool the inside space needs refurbished and updated

  • 3 of 5

The property needs updated a brought up to modern standards. Advertised as sleeping 6 it really wouldn't. One of the bedrooms is only accessable through another bed room. The shower and bathroom are old and tired and you can't stand up in the shower if you are over 160cm tall.

Out side pool area is lovely but again let down by old very uncomfortable tired furniture

Lovely trullo, very welcoming and friendly owners

  • 5 of 5

We had a lovely week in this beautifully renovated trullo in July 2015 and would thoroughly recommend it. It is in a peaceful rural location surrounded by fields and other trulli but within easy driving distance of Locorotondo. There is plenty of interest to see in the region and the sea is not far away. This area of Puglia was beautiful and the people completely delightful.

The owners, Tonia and Martino, were incredibly friendly, going far beyond what would normally be expected of a property owner to make us feel welcome. We do not speak Italian particularly well but they did not seem fazed by this and Susan, who manages the bookings, is Scottish and is on hand to help out if it ever proves necessary. Tonia not only prepared home-made pasta for us, but even fired up the wood oven in the outdoor kitchen to bake the most delicious focaccia. Martino was very helpful when our car broke down and gave us several bottles of home-made wine and grappa. The grounds were extensive and beautiful and we were repeatedly encouraged to help ourselves to vegetables from the kitchen garden. The pool is one of the most beautiful we have ever had on holiday and was kept immaculately clean throughout our stay.

All in all, we were delighted with our stay and would definitely consider booking again if we return to this part of Puglia.

Relax in the sun

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed our stay in this homely trulli decorated in the traditional style.

It was clean and tidy and there was more than enough space for the two of us.

The grounds are well loved and maintained by the family. We met the family several times and liked them very much . They were kind and welcoming and despite the fact that neither of us spoke Italian , and they spoke no English, we seemed to communicate remarkably well. Susan was at hand if there were any queries and was very helpful.

A lovely place to visit with some good sightseeing not too far away. Beaches were good but at least 45 minutes away - longer if you get lost!! All in all a great holiday.
