all balconies face the pool and we happened to stay when there were a lot of screaming kids whose parents did not control them...they were out there until 11:00 pm and beyond and could be heard even with the doors closed...made it hard to even sit out on the balcony with all the noise....kids were in the main pool and adults were in the kiddie pool....the beach is right across the street and is a better option...the elevators are not very well kept as far as cleanliness and mechanically....fans did not work.... as far as the game area in the condo, the pool table only had 2 sticks and the walls are very close....needs a short stick to be able to shoot...the lint trap or the vent probably needs to be cleaned out for the dryer as you needs to use 2-3 cycles to dry clothes

This condo was amazing for our family vacation. The location was very nice and the walk to the beach took about 3 minutes. I would not have changed anything and will look to book this condo again when we travel back to Myrtle Beach.
Do not rent this property!!
We have rented several properties in the Myrtle Beach Villas II and always had a wonderful trip. I would never rent from this individual again. The place wasn’t clean! There were horrible stains on the mattress covers and pillows. There was food and LEGO’s under the sofa. Pretzels were under the one bed. The AC didn’t work. It took 3 calls for it to get fixed. We were accused of putting batteries (commercial ones at that) into the thermostat which caused it to short out and not work. The property manager is rude and lies!! There were several broken things in the condo from the refrigerator, shower floor and dressers drawers. We were told these items were on order and would be fixed once they arrived. And then on Monday, our travel insurance was charged a claim for the 3 call outs for the AC and a thermostat. Made a call to the owner to ask about the claim and he was just as ignorant and rude as the property manager. This place is not worth the time or money!!!
The only element of this review that is true is that it took three callouts from the property manager to get this guest to understand that they have to keep the patio doors shut for the AC to remain on, and, not to put batteries in the thermostat.
What often happens with these villas (at MBVII), any of them, is that if a guest leaves the patio door open, and there are four, the high humidity outside air often causes the AC to freeze up. When that happens, the guest is without AC often for some time. So, we have added cutouts on two of our villas that turn the AC off when any door is open for more than two minutes. It takes five minutes to re-start following a trip. Part of this feature is that the thermostat must not have batteries added to the stat.
Callout one: this was to go and close the patio door after the property manager spent quite some time on the phone telling the guest to … close the door.
Callout two: this was to remove batteries from the thermostat that the guest had placed in the stat despite the property manager telling them not to do so. During this exchange, the guest’s husband came to the phone and called the property manager an ‘IDIOT’.
Callout three: was to replace a burned-out thermostat. The guest claimed that they had not added batteries but there were fresh batteries on the countertop not more than three feet from the thermostat. I can only assume they were trying to defeat the system so they could leave the doors open.
Following our multiple exchanges with this guest, I couldn’t help but think of one of Ron White’s most famous quotes ever “you can’t fix …”
Family Vacay 2019
Rental process, payment process and property access was seamless. The property was in a very convenient location. Access to many of Myrtle Beach’s attractions was convenient and close by. Good property for large families or groups. The pool area was quite small for the number of units available in both buildings on the property. Property was fairly well-maintained.
15 at condo for week
This property was great 15 stayed don't think could do many more. We had lots of room. Grandkids enjoyed the pool table and I even got to play a game. Loved that table and that we could all get around it for meals that was awesome. We all enjoyed the pool/ lazyriver. Also the beach was easy short half block walk.
Nice place. Good location
We took our kids and grandkids to Myrtle Beach for a Christmas gift. There was 14 of us. This condo was nice because everyone got their own bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen table was big enough to fit everyone. The location was in walking distance to the beach and the shared pool was nice. I would recommend this place if you have a large group.
The unit is located on Ocean Blvd. in central Myrtle Beach. To get to the beach, leave the complex, cross Ocean Blvd and walk about 50 yards. Due to the units' central location all of Myrtle Beach’s attractions are close at hand. Especially of interest are FAMILY KINGDOM (theme and water park, about 100 yards north), BROADWAY AT THE BEACH (Restaurants, shopping theaters, nightlife, about 2.2 miles north) and MARKET COMMON (Restaurants, shopping theaters, nightlife, about 2.5 miles south)
