Why nigel buckley chose Gateshead
A listed stone building formally a timber warehouse owned by the railways & a recent property development. A perfect location for a stay in the North East as situated in a quiet residential area on the South side of the river Tyne near the High Level, Swing & Tyne bridges so only a 5 minute walk away from the heart of the City & with fantastic views of Newcastle, Quayside & Bridges. A great base to stay to access all the North East has to offer. From the fantastic coastal lines, history such as Hadrian's Wall, the historic city of Durham, the theatres, music venues, great restaurants & all Newcastle has to offer whether visiting for business or pleasure.
What makes this House unique
A rare find. A stone built listed building with a large arched window that covers the Ground/ First Floor of the spacious 3 bedroomed beautiful property in a quiet residential area with stunning views across the Tyne.

convenient, comfortable and well equipped house
Great place for 6 people to stay, plenty of space.
Host very flexible on check out time which was helpful.
Very well equipped and stylish.
We stayed at the property for a long weekend with our family. The house is beautiful, everything is catered for and the location is a 10 minute walk to Newcastle city centre over the bridge. I would highly recommend this property for exploring Newcastle and the surrounding area. Being able to park was a bonus, but, once there, the car wasn't used.
Perfect apartment for our family reunion
The perfect apartment for our family reunion in Gateshead and it was so well equipped we were able to have a celebration dinner there. The bedroom and living room furnishings were very high quality and the entire apartment was decorated and equipped to an excellent standard. Nigel welcomed us and was then available should we have had any problems - which we didn't. He also provided us with local information - nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely want to return.
Many thanks for the kind words, it was a pleasure we look forward to seeing you all again in the near future.

Comfy house, great location, excellent facilities.
Kenilworth is a great location for a stay in Newcastle/Gateshead. Monday comfy house with all mod cons, and very helpful welcome from Nigel and Michelle. Stones throw from the High level Bridge to get direct into the centre of Newcastle. Big Tescos 5 mins walk away for all your self catering needs; and 2 great real ale pubs (Station East & Central) even nearer!
Many thanks for the review it is much appreciated. Glad you and the family had a great stay.
Hope to see you again in the not to distant future.

Excellent place for visiting newcastle
Great well stocked house in a great location
many thanks for taking the time for the review.
Hope we see you again soon
Great stay for 6 adults to meet up for weekend.
We were greeted by Nigel informing us all about the house then left knowing we could contact him if needed.
Very close to High Bridge, The Sage and Art Museum. Impressed how clean and rubbish free this area was.
We walked everywhere but buses and taxis plentiful also met friends at train station which was about 10/15 minutes walk back to house.
We would revisit Newcastle and use this accomodation again.
