About Marian Clarke
D-Day tours can be arranged for our guests. The history of the area is extremely interesting and having taught history I enjoy explaining and telling stories of the things that have happened here. I was also a special needs teacher with many years of experience working with children and adults, especially dealing with learning difficulties, Asperger syndrome and autistic spectrum disorders. I taught and supported pupils and students with life and communication skills, helping to educate them to maximize their own potential. It is very important for everyone to feel confident in themselves and it is amazing what we can all achieve. I have worked with various communication programmes such as PECS, TEACCH and Makaton.
Marian Clarke purchased this Cottage in 2002
Why Marian Clarke chose Brémoy
I fell in love with the house as soon as I saw it. A 17th cenury stone building apparently built for the Grimaldi Family who had links to Normandy at this time. It needed alot of TLC so we set to and now have a beautiful place in undulating countryside surrounded by fields.
What makes this Cottage unique
I can give D-Day tours uniquely for my guests.

Great location amazing host!
We had a lovely stay. We had 9 people total and we had more than enough space for sleeping and spending time together. Great for kids with all the play equipment out front and toys in the house. Marian is a wonderful host. We would recommend this property and stay here again if in the Normandy region of France.
Thank you so much for being such lovely guests you are welcome back anytime.
Excellent accomodation for 7 guys that wanted to explore Normandy on motorcycles
Marianne is a wonderful host, very welcoming and very easy going - and boy does she make a good desert !!
We had a 'welcome to Normandy' pavlova and a 'have a good ride home' lemon meringue pie 😁😁
The accomodation is a lovely period cottage with everything you need to make your stay comfortable - tucked away out in the countryside it is also VERY secure for a motorcycle holiday, all in all we loved our stay and would be happy to recommend to others.
Week-end parfait !
Great for big groups
Marian is really accommodating. There was 15 of us and it has plenty of space. Kitchen has plenty of equipment to cook.
Thank you for your comments and thank you for being such lovely guests
Excellent Holiday accommodation
At a very short notice, Marian offered us her brilliant, quiet and comfortable accommodation. The warm welcome and Normandy cuisine( bread, cheese and cider) made us feel very welcome in France. The Chateau was fantastic with large and small swimming pools for us and our children to enjoy. The lovely well equiped garden was brilliant for our whole family. The children enjoyed bouncing on the trampoline and relaxing on the hammocks. The fire place kept the house warm and cosy. The chateau is within 30 minutes to the beaches, memorials, museums and the zoo to name just a few. The accommodation and surrounding areas are suitable for disabled persons because they can experience the freedom of open spaces and fun facilities. The bedrooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. We couldn't ask for more. The family bathrooms downstairs and upstairs were spacious and suitable for the whole family. The downstairs bedroom is very much accessible for wheelchair users. Thank you Marian for providing the facilities for families and children with special needs. Thank you for your warm welcome and the barbecue; your friends made us feel at home too.
Mary, Ben and their children were excellent guests. I am really glad that they enjoyed themselves it was a pleasure to accommodate them. I look forward to their next visit
Charming but tired.
Perfect location, peace and tranquillity. Marian was a perfect host. I celebrated my birthday while there and Marian made a huge strawberry pavlova, it was delicious.
Marian allowed my friend, who lives in France, to stay over with no extra charge.
We had seven grandchildren with us who enjoyed the swimming pools (one for toddlers), play area and badminton. Plenty of outdoor eating areas with a choice of BBQ's.
Thank you for a memorable holiday.
Thank you Hazel, Andrew and the rest of the Key family for being such lovely guests.
