Pass-a-grille is a charming Florida Community of days past. Located on the southernmost tip of St Pete Beach. Near Tampa, St Petersburg, Anna Maria Island and Egmont Key. The Waterfront Charmer is perfectly located in the heart of Pass-a-grille, right next to 8th Ave. which is the 'hub' of this quiet spot.
We take great care to make sure you have all the comforts needed to make a vacation a memorable experience. We're fortunate enough to have acquired many repeat guests, we're starting to feel like a huge extended family!
A red aluminum roof makes the cottage quickly identifiable! The cabana striped awnings, bright tropical artwork and furnishings complete the charm of old Florida living with contemporary amenities. Cottage has 2 decks - one that looks at Boca Ciega Bay and a second intimate, secluded, covered porch between home and the garage (loft). A privacy fence surrounds the home. Old oak wood floors, a totally remodeled and updated kitchen, romantic fireplace, ceiling fans, central air, This is our personal guest house for our friends and family when they come visit, so we make sure it never starts looking 'tired'.
Late 2017 we completed a large remodel of both bathrooms, they still have the old cottage look but are totally new! The laundry area is now located in the bottom floor of loft with full sized stacked front load washer and dryer,
Since we are one of the original Pass-a-grille Cottages, we have a bit of a rambling, add-on, footprint. The cottage sleeps 5, 1 queen, 1 full, 1 twin. It is 2 bdroom/2 bath and a small Florida room, with 1 twin bed, which can be closed off from the rest of the cottage. Additionally, the loft sleeps 4. The loft is a upstairs/downstairs with a remodeled laundry center on bottom floor and 2 twins on top level, 1 full bed on bottom floor.

Tom and I love to travel, our preferred way to lodge is at VRBO properties. We have 2 labs (a silver lab and a charcoal lab) that we adore. Empty nesters with 4 adult children living from Tampa to JAX to the FL Keys and LA. We have 4 grandchildren who we can't see often enough.

The Waterfront Charmer is located in the perfect spot, next to the two block long 8th Ave. Historical Shopping District. Boutiques and restaurants right on the same square block. Immediately across the street, the Merry Pier is fascinating at any hour of the day - there is always something going on. Pass-a-grille is a step back in time, one of Florida's best kept secrets. The beaches are pristine.
What makes this Cottage unique
The WaterfrontCharmer is so incredibly close to the beach! The Gulf of Mexico is a short 2 blocks from our back door. Sit on the front deck in the lifeguard chairs and watch the happenings at the Merry Pier across the street, watch the pelicans groom themselves on the old pilings, watch dolphin, birds and fishermen. This southern end of Pass-a-grille is the best place to walk your dogs or just to take a walk. After the beach gets boring the sights along the sidewalk are entertaining; old homes, renovated homes and new ones. We are right next to 8th Ave, the historic street, with fun beachy shopping, not the typical tourist stuff. Action, but not too much. Nice place to relax and slow the pace. When you want action, go north of the Don CeSar Hotel and the action begins!! The best place EVER to walk you dog.

Cutest Beach House Ever
We love staying at the Waterfront Charmer. The house is darling and comfortable with
everything you need and more. The front porch is so relaxing with a nice breeze and the view of the water and boats and birds. The Merry Pier is just across the street with boat rentals and fishing and fresh fish to buy.
The walk to the best beach in the area is easy and quick.
We love riding the bikes provided all over wonderful Pass a Grille

Ideal location, great owner, house updated and thoughfully stocked
My kids and I had a beautiful Spring break experience here. We loved being so centrally located in the Pass-a-Grille community and it was very convenient to have a dedicated parking space behind the house. We walked easily to the beach, restaurants, fishing, ice cream, sunsets and shopping. The house was well stocked with floats, buckets and beach towels. The owner was very friendly, helpful and responsive.

The Waterfront Charmer is just what the name implies! From the great central location to every need being met, we couldn't have been happier with our trip. Pat has done an outstanding job turning this beach cottage into a relaxing (and charming of course!) destination.

Fabulous Sunset Charmer and Treehouse Charmer
Just completed our Girls’ Beach Trip to St. Pete Beach and Pass-A-Grille. The house and extra mother-in-Law suite were the perfect accommodations for our group of 5. Plenty of bedrooms and baths for us. Having a private dipping pool and large partially covered patio made this the best ever place ever!! The owner provided every thing you could possibly need during our stay. The properties were beautifully furnished and squeaky clean. Just a half block walk to the pristine beach. Restaurants, stores and grocery close by. You can’t go wrong making this your destination.

We had 6 people in our group and the house was perfect!!!! It has everything you would need and is in the perfect location!! Pat Black is awesome and so accommodating! We would definitely rent from her again!
The loft consists of a top floor and bottom floor. We have renovated the laundry center and relocated it to the bottom floor of the loft. The bathroom for loft is 3 giant steps though back covered porch to cottage bath. The loft has 2 twin beds, 1 TV on top floor and 1 full bed on bottom floor. It is all open with no division between sleeping spaces.

Animals are welcome if they are well behaved and on flea and tick medications. 2 animals max. Prior owner approval. Non refundable deposit for each animal is 150.00. Preferred check in day is Saturday. Additional $70.00 upcharge for cleaners when checking out on Sunday. Any reservation for one month or longer will require a 175.00 cleaning charge instead of 140.00 Max number of persons in home is 9 people. After 7 people you will be additionally charged 25.00/night per person. If cancellations are made after you have used the "Book it now" feature and paid through Homeaway /VRBO, I will deduct the processing fee (charged to me from Homeaway/VRBO) for that payment from your returned monies. (2.5%) You will also be charged 2.5% credit card processing fee from VRBO/Homeaway at your end.
