A high quality modern barn conversion in an excellent unspoiled coastal position within the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Apple Barn is situated at the head of a valley leading down to the estuary, with beautiful views to Salcombe and sunsets.

Several sandy beaches are within a 15 minute walk and nearby car parks include the National Trust car park at Mill Bay. There are scenic walks in all directions from the property including spectacular sections of the South West Coast Path and a track leading down to Mill Bay and the Salcombe estuary. It is a fantastic location for those who love coastal walks, sailing and peace.

This holiday cottage at a glance

Sleeps four + two guests. Two bedrooms, one bathroom on the ground floor and one WC on the first floor. Two single futons can be found in the living room The property is suitable four adults and two children. Wood burning stove. Large, west facing terrace and lawned garden. Parking for two vehicles. One well behaved dog is welcome. However, please ensure it is kept to the ground floor. Sadly, the property is not equipped for children under five years old. WiFi. Minimum of a three night stay.

Additional features

Exposed beams, oak and cream limestone floors with oil-fired underfloor heating downstairs. Electric cooker, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer. Hi-fi with quality surround sound for CD and radio in living room and kitchen. Telephone with honesty box, there is no mobile signal. Garden furniture and barbecue.

Attractions and nearby amenities

Salcombe is just a few minutes away from Mill Bay by ferry and has excellent restaurants, cafes, shops and holiday buzz. The new restaurant and bar at Gara Rock is a quarter of a mile from the property in a spectacular position overlooking the sea (seasonal opening times). Various boat trips and boats for hire are available. The villages of East Prawle and South Pool with their pubs, cafe and shop are within four miles. The local market town of Kingsbridge is about 20 minutes. Explore historic Dartmouth, 30 minutes away.
