Great views of paradise overlooking the gulf from this recently remodeled Aquarius beachfront 5th floor unit. Watch sunrise on the gulf from front balcony, watch sunsets and fireworks from rear balcony. Located directly on the Gulf of Mexico. Sandy and I stay often in this unit and update it constantly No need for rental car, you can walk to entertainment and great bay side restaurants such as Louie’s Backyard, Palm Street Pier Bar & Grill, Laguna Bob's and Daddy's. Shopping, water park and theater also close by. Just out the back door is miles and miles of golden beach to walk or relax around the large pool and hot tub or if you must work there is W.I.F.I. in our room. Jet skis, parasail banana boats, dolphin watch, museums and lighthouse are just some of the near by attractions. The Aquarius is a gated beachfront complex with a friendly 24 hour management /security staff. The Aquarius also has a laundry room a small fitness and sauna room and 3 BBQ areas. SORRY NO RENTERS UNDER 25.
The Aquarius has recently undergone a major renovation inside, outside ,pool ,spa and grounds and is in outstanding condition.
Outside 60 days full refund (90 days Winter Texans)
Inside 60 days we keep the deposit.
Inside 3 weeks no refund.(We will always try to rent your cancelled dates and refund deposit or payment if ALL nights are rented)
In case of a mandatory hurricane evacutation a credit of per night stay will be given for each night island is unsafe.
A credit card will be held in lieu of cash deposit for any incedental damages we will apply damage to card.

Sandy and I live and work in Indianapolis we visited South Padre one weekend in 2005. We fell in love with the area and people and purchased unit 507 while there the following year we purchased 407 and recently purchased unit 906.

Aquarius has a friendly 24 hour security. Although it was the first high rise to be built on the island it has under gone a fantastic renovation. The grounds and landscape are immaculate. Better than expected
Very clean! Stayed for three days on a rainy S.Padre weekend. They have everything you would need (pots, pans, beach chairs, coffee machine,etc) It’s the perfect location, beautiful view of the beach, and an amazing balcony. This place was perfect! Was too cold and rainy to do anything fun one of the days so we played ping pong in the lounge while waiting for our clothes to wash. Can’t wait to visit again.
This room had the best ocean view we have ever had and we always stay oceanfront! The fact that the balcony is on an angle gave you the view all the way down the beach and not just the view of the ocean directly in front of the condo, plus the balconies off the bedrooms gave you the view of the ocean and the bay. The condo was equipped with everything you could possibly need in the kitchen department, plus there were plenty of towels and washcloths. The decor was nice and beach themed. Hot tub, pool and grounds were nicely kept, and the location was great! The condo is in walking distance to restaurants and shops. Very peaceful and relaxing vacation. Great place to stay, and terrific condo to rent!

Overall, the condo is great. Beautiful view from the living area, and an easy drive/walk to restaurants and other attractions. The pool was never crowded, and the private walkway to the beach is a bonus. My only suggestion would be swapping the queen sized bed for a king. I'm 6'5" and it was a bit tight for two people. Other than that, no complaints.
The master bedroom mattress was replaced April of 2018 a new pillow top Sealy Plush mattress. However it is a queen as stated in our listing.
Comfortable condo with beautiful balcony views
My daughter and I had a great time at this condo for a girl's weekend before she goes back to college. The two balconies have beautiful views - the living room balcony of the beach, and the bedroom balcony of the bay and fireworks. There aren't any other high rise buildings nearby, which made for a less crowded beach, too, which we enjoyed.
Very clean and super easy access to beach.
Greg checked in to ensure we had everything we needed after our arrival. Condo was well equipped with everything we needed and plenty of extras. Can't beat the location.
Owner recommendations A must, and our first stop when reaching the island for lunch is Dirty Al's for their shrimp basket. Our favorite spot is Palm Street Pier. Try any of the three award winning shrimp cook-off dinners and don't forget a piece of key lime pie. Sit on the veranda at Amberjack's for a great sunset dinner, or there is a sunset dinner cruise at Laguna Bobs. But our favorite sunset location is on our own bedroom balcony for wine and pizza, where you can also watch fireworks in the summer. (W.I.F.I. available in unit)
