I am just back from a holiday in Villa Emilio. I found the house to be clean, functional, tidy, close to local amenities. Definitely very high value for money. The swimming pool was surprisingly large and the house comfortably furnished. Didn't have any issues and would recommend the property to everyone...
Villa Emilio is Situated on the edge of the pretty resort of Cala En Porter. With its perfect sandy beach, excellent selection of restaurants and close proximity to the airport, Cala En Porter is one of the most popular beach resorts of the island, attracting repeat visitors year after year.
Cala en Porter: a small village set between limestone cliffs to the side and a fine sandy beach in front. A number of restaurants and bars, including the famous 'Cave' bar (Cova d'en Xoroi) which is set in a huge sea cave!
Son Bou: is one or our favourite beaches on Menorca. A gloriously uncrowded and natural beach with Turquoise water and soft fine sand. Set back from the beach are a selection of beach bars, restaurants and shops.
Binisafua-Platja: is a small coastal village and typically Spanish. The delightful sandy beach, with whitewashed church along with several 'hidden' coves, give you plenty of private swimming locations.
Mahon: became the island's capital in 1722 - moved by the British from the Ciutadella. White-washed Regency and Georgian houses cling to the cliff face that surounds the harbour. It has strong connections with British naval history - admirals Nelson and Collingwood stayed there - while it also plays an important part in Richard O'Brien's series of novels.
