Guestbook comments from the owner

My fiance and I really enjoyed staying in the alpine cabin. It was the perfect weekend get away and we were both so happy to have a comfortable bed (after all when traveling that is a difficult thing to come by) :)The bread was great as well. Thank you for the wonderful stay... we will with out a doubt be back and would recommend staying at the Johnson Branch Cabins to everyone!

Mountain Oasis....

  • 5 of 5

This was our second stay at Alpine Cabin and it was just as comfortable and relaxing as the first time. The owner does an excellent job of keeping this property in tip top shape for all to enjoy. We know, from experience, how rough renters can be on a property, but somehow this one is an exception. It is like brand new, extremely clean, and cozy. Best of all it is very close to things, yet you feel as if you are secluded in your own little slice of the mountains with plenty of trees and a stream trickling through the back yard. The only thing missing is a nice comfy hammock by the stream....hey, there's an idea for a local rental business, like the beach chair/umbrella folks! We will return and hope it can be very soon!

Alpine Cabin was lovely.

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was walking distance from town, yet quiet. We loved the cool air and babbling brooks through our windows at night and loved the hot tub.

The Alpine Cabin was super clean and had everything that is needed for an enjoyable stay. It was quiet and so peacedale. It was a perfect home base with a great location for our motorcycle trip. We enjoyed the hot tub on the back deck which was very private after a day of riding. I would highly recommend this cabin and would stay there again!

Alpine Cabin

WOW is all we can say. This is our second stay at this home and it was as relaxing as it was the first time. Maybe more. My husband and I both work long hours and when we both ended up with a long weekend off we jumped at the chance and we were so thankful this cabin was open.

You will not find a cleaner cabin anywhere and I have stayed in many. You will not get the one on one contact with the actual owner in most cabins. YOU CAN HERE. She is a wonderful lady who was such a help to us when we needed her. Never anything to do with the cabin. It was all electronics related, another reason it was so nice to get away. We had great service but we never took them with us anywhere. The creeks are so relaxing at night while going to sleep. That is if you can ever make yourself get off the wonderful back deck not to mention a very relaxing hot tub.

I appreciate very much that she welcomes pets, we love ours and we like to take them with us. You would never know when you walk in or walk around anywhere that any animal was ever there. She has a wonderful clean home. I hope all pet owners out there RESPECT her and her home so she can continue to allow pets because its a wonderful place for them. So much flat ground and woods for them to explore and so private.

I cant wait to go back. I give this cabin and its wonderful owner 5 stars for everything including the 5 more she gets from Tommy and I for such a relaxing weekend.

Thank you.

Shawn Miller
