Guestbook comments from the owner

My fiance and I really enjoyed staying in the alpine cabin. It was the perfect weekend get away and we were both so happy to have a comfortable bed (after all when traveling that is a difficult thing to come by) :)The bread was great as well. Thank you for the wonderful stay... we will with out a doubt be back and would recommend staying at the Johnson Branch Cabins to everyone!

Perfect

The Alpine Cabin was super clean and had everything that is needed for an enjoyable stay. It was quiet and so peacedale. It was a perfect home base with a great location for our motorcycle trip. We enjoyed the hot tub on the back deck which was very private after a day of riding. I would highly recommend this cabin and would stay there again!

Alpine Cabin

WOW is all we can say. This is our second stay at this home and it was as relaxing as it was the first time. Maybe more. My husband and I both work long hours and when we both ended up with a long weekend off we jumped at the chance and we were so thankful this cabin was open.

You will not find a cleaner cabin anywhere and I have stayed in many. You will not get the one on one contact with the actual owner in most cabins. YOU CAN HERE. She is a wonderful lady who was such a help to us when we needed her. Never anything to do with the cabin. It was all electronics related, another reason it was so nice to get away. We had great service but we never took them with us anywhere. The creeks are so relaxing at night while going to sleep. That is if you can ever make yourself get off the wonderful back deck not to mention a very relaxing hot tub.

I appreciate very much that she welcomes pets, we love ours and we like to take them with us. You would never know when you walk in or walk around anywhere that any animal was ever there. She has a wonderful clean home. I hope all pet owners out there RESPECT her and her home so she can continue to allow pets because its a wonderful place for them. So much flat ground and woods for them to explore and so private.

I cant wait to go back. I give this cabin and its wonderful owner 5 stars for everything including the 5 more she gets from Tommy and I for such a relaxing weekend.

Thank you.

This cabin was neat and clean in a secluded setting. A good base for exploring the Smokies.

This was our third time using vrbo. By far our best experience. Maggie Valley was great as a jumping off point for the Blueridge Parkway and the Smoky Mts National Park. Our accomdations where very good.

The views from the Alpine Cabin are great.

  • 5 of 5

I enjoyed my stay at the Alpine Cabin. I was there for 5 weeks. Love having the dishwasher and laundry. The views are great in the late fall. Visited Cataloochee State Park to see the Elk and their young. Visited Cades Cove a must see and went to visitors center in Cherokee to see more Elk. Also went to a concert in Cherokee at Harrah's. There are plenty of things to see in Maggie Valley. A must see is the Wheels of Time. But I loved just sitting on the porch and listening to the creek and looking at the views. Madeleine is a most graceful person. She is there for you if you need her for anything. She is a good friend of mine now since I go there every year. I have stayed in 3 of her cabins but my favorite is the Alpine Cabin.

Amazing!

  • 5 of 5

This was our second stay at the Alpine. Ideal for a comfortable spot after a long ride through the beautiful smokies. Definitely motorcycle friendly. This beautiful cabin would be terrific even if you aren't riding. Exceptionally clean, beautiful views next to a soothing creek. Well equipped and plenty of room in the kitchen should you choose to fix meals in. We have also stayed at other cabins with the same owner. Once you've been spoiled by the amenities, cleanliness and amazing views - you'll never want to stay with any other owner. Excellent communication, friendly and professional owner. We will return to the Alpine and Johnson Branch Cabins. Recommended without hesitation.
