Our townhome (5F) is a large three-bedroom, three-bath 2-Story unit (over 1900 square feet including lanais) with vaulted ceilings...it's the largest floor plan available at the resort. You can sleep up to six comfortably and you’ll have plenty of room to relax and enjoy the warm breezes and sunshine that the South Kohala/Waikoloa Beach Resort area offers.

You’ll get use of the beautiful Hali'i Kai Beach Club with a gorgeous pool (small children will love the shallow pool play area), fitness room, BBQ, lounge area, restaurant and bar--all with a cliff-side view of the ocean. One of the most beautiful places on earth! You may never want to leave the resort.

Hali'i Kai is located next to the famous Waikoloa golf course with the Hilton Waikoloa just a short walk away for those who want to shop/visit/attend a conference. The King’s Shops and Queen's Shops provide restaurants and shopping within the resort area. There are many beaches close by to enjoy. Hali'i Kai is approximately 20 minutes from the Kona airport.

Our Townhome includes:

-High-quality furnishings.

-The upstairs master bedroom, with it’s own private lanai, has an ocean/golf course view. The en suite master bathroom includes a stall shower, a large soaking tub, and walk-in closet. A flat-screen LCD TV, DVD Player and I-Pod compatible speaker system.

-The 2nd upstairs bedroom has two twin beds, a Leather Eurobed (turns into full-size bed, enough for 2 kids) and a separate bathroom with a stall shower.

-The Downstairs queen bedroom with flat-screen LCD TV, DVD Player and radio (I-pod compatible). Adjacent to the bedroom is a third bathroom with a tub/shower.

-The kitchen has granite counter-tops with new appliances and all you need to either cook your own meals or enjoy take-out on the lanai (this is where we eat most of our meals).

-A laundry room with a washer and dryer are also available in the unit.

-Free Wireless Internet

-Weber BBQ on lower lanai

The Great Room has a Flat-Screen Plasma TV, DVD Player, and Stereo system (iPod-compatible), Dining Table and chairs, and stools for the counter. The vaulted ceiling gives the unit a feeling of spaciousness and light. The lanai off of the great room has a golf course and ocean view.

The Tennis Courts and Basketball Court are located just a few steps from the unit.

During whale season (December-April) it’s easy to see humpbacks swimming directly off the coast from the Ocean Club. No need to take excursions when you’ve got a premier view from the shoreline. With sunsets off the horizon and the sounds of waves crashing in the background; it truly creates a pleasing and therapeutic environment for all to enjoy.

There is so much to do within just a few minutes (helicopter rides, beaches, luau's, shopping, fishing, golf, K ranch, Whale-watching, Scuba, Snorkeling, incredible restaurants and so much more). The area and resort are truly 'hidden gems.' Hali'i Kai provides a luxurious home base from which you can explore the entire Big Island and its many picturesque beaches. We will give guests great tips on where to eat, play and shop!

Hali'i Kai offered what the owners have always looked for in Hawaii. A lush, tropical and quiet surrounding with gorgeous ocean and golf course views. The serenity of the condo resort along with the amenities of the ocean-front pool, bar and restaurant were unmatched in any of the condos that the owners had rented in over 20 years in visits to the islands.

What makes this townhome unique

We love all of the beaches that are nearby...on other islands, we preferred one or two...but the Big Island gives much more variety and less congestion. Having 3 bedrooms for our family of four means a separate bedroom for each child. The closeness of world-class restaurants and incredible family activities were, again, unmatched on any other island resort we have stayed at through the years.

Best place to stay in waikoloa beach

Beautiful and spacious with lots of extra amenities. This condo was high class with a feel of home. You could cook in this kitchen but the restaurant/bar at the pool is the best place to be. The staff at this place are friendly and professional. I would recommend it to anyone.

Fabulous 3 BR condo

This was our second trip back to Hali'i Kai, but the first time renting a 3 BR unit at this resort. Debbie was so wonderful to work with. She was prompt in all her correspondence and eager to please her guests. The unit was exactly as described - well furnished with many accessories provided that made for an enjoyable and relaxing stay. It was equipped with its own BBQ, beach chairs, coolers, boogie boards, basketball, tennis raquets, etc. As well, it was really nice to have some of the small conveniences of spices, tea, tupperware, and tin foil, plastic wrap/plastic bags stocked for our use. The resort is very well maintained and the pool area is very inviting. It was nice that Debbie's on-island contact is close by and can respond quickly if issues arise. We had only one small issue with the oven, but were able to manage with the use of their BBQ in the meantime. I highly recommend this 3 BR unit in Hali'i Kai. Many thanks for a memorable vacation!

Beautiful Big Island Getaway

Everything as stated and pictured was exactly how we found it. Comfortable, clean, a great kitchen and well decorated. Quiet, great for relaxing. Very close drive to Hapuna Beach...one of the most beautiful beaches I have ever been to...and I've been to a lot!

The Best

This was a family vacation of 6 adults to include our two adult children and their spouse/fiancé. The home was exactly as described, as well equipped as our own home with views and short walks to absolutely beautiful vistas. Halii Kai itself is beautiful and impeccably cared for. The use of the oceanfront pool with bar and restaurant were visited daily. The owner of this Unit 5F made our stay easy and unforgettable. Thank you.

We had a glorious time at this Hawaiian home. The accomodations were great; our group included six adults and one child. The location is great. There is plenty of acitivities for both adults and children. The owners of the property were easy to work with and very gracious. I would recommend this condo to anyone.

Excellent Condo in Hali'i Kai

This is our third time renting in Hali'i Kai and it was by far the best unit we have rented! The owners are fantastic any very attentive. We ran out of propane (which is a very minor problem) and the owners had a refill within minutes! The unit was extremely clean and really showed pride of ownership: lots of beach towels, quality linens and furnishings, and beautiful artwork (we loved the surf board over the tv), and all of the kitchen utensils you would need! They even have lots of beach toys, chairs, boogie boards, snorkel gear and coolers to use at the beach! We had three couples share the unit and the three bedrooms and baths worked perfectly with our four year old sleeping in the master bedroom closet on a mattress. (He was thrilled to have his own room!) The property is the best on the island: the pool is incredible and great for pre-schoolers, the amount of whales you see breeching right from your chaise lounge at the pool just amazing, and the sunsets at night are sublime. The grounds are meticulously cared for and the setting very tropical. Being on the second floor we had a great breeze and didn't even need to run the a/c unit at all as well. Parking is right in front of the unit and shaded most of the time and visitor parking near by for our second car. We stay on the big island every year, and we will definitely will re-rent this unit for sure!
