Just got back from a lovely trip to Big Sky and this fabulous cabin. A deer greeted us when we arrived which was a delight! The cabin has plenty of space for everyone. We were a multigenerational group and this cabin worked perfectly for our group. The kitchen is very well outfitted so you could cook up anything you might like. The beds were comfy and the rooms spacious. It is very conveniently located to a brewery and a little grocery store. We all loved Big Sky and would love to stay here again! Book this place, you won't regret it!!
So glad you had a great time at Little Coyote Cabin! I hope your daughter enjoyed her college tour at Montana State. Hopefully you will be back! 😊
A lovely spot
We had a great stay in this amazing little log cabin in Big Sky! The house was very well appointed, the hot tub was fantastic and our whole group was very comfortable and had a great time. Bridget was a great host and very helpful and easy to get in touch with. We will definitely stay here again!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Little Coyote cabin. It is very comfortable and well stocked and is very centrally located near the town center, golf course and park. We especially enjoyed all the hikes nearby, sitting on the deck and eating pizza at Ousel and Spur! Hope to return soon!
Relaxing with beautiful surroundings
We had a wonderful stay at Little Coyote Cabin! Everything we needed was there. The hot water heater went out and when we came back from sight seeing it was fixed! Quick response from the management, thank you.
Hot tub was a nice way to relax either in the morning watching the sun come up or at night looking up at the stars that peppered the sky. I know now why it is called Big Sky.
We were able to watch mule deer almost every day in the back meadow. We roasted marshmallows by the fire one night and got great use from the grill. We ate outside sometimes enjoying the beautiful scenery.
We were close to everything we needed. It is close to great and scenic fishing on the Gallatin River. It is close to Yellowstone, a great base camp for seeing the diversity of what Yellowstone offers. A trip to Virginia City and the scenery going around the mountains was worth the trip. A trip to the top of Lone Peak is a must if you are staying in the area.
I hate to even mention the reason I did not give the place 5 stars. The third floor area, the loft, was not as cozy and comfortable as the rest of the cabin. The bathroom only had a tub (no shower) and the ceiling was pretty low. I hit my head numerous times.
Other than that everything else was perfect!
Thanks for making it a home away from home!
Great place to stay.
Had a very nice stay. Cabin is nice and clean. Close to all activities in Big Sky.
Great place for a summer getaway. We were the smaller contingent of a larger family gathering at Big Sky and enjoyed the quiet afforded us at this lovely cabin and it’s convenient location. We especially enjoyed the large deck and pretty vistas over morning coffee.
Big Sky is divided into three commercial areas. The canyon/Hwy. 191, the Meadow Village and the Mountain Village/Big Sky Resort. The cabin is located 1/2 mile from the Meadow Village, 2 miles up from Hwy 191 and about 6 miles from the Resort. The Meadow Village and Big Sky Town Center are within walking distance of the cabin and offer grocery shopping, restaurants, post office, pharmacy, galleries, sports stores and other shopping. The Arnold Palmer golf course is located in the middle of the valley, and is across the street from the cabin. There are tennis courts 1/4 mile away. West Yellowstone is 40 miles away.
Other Activities: endless hiking possibilities, National Park touring, snowmobiling, river rafting, horseback riding and more.
