Cosy cottage in a beautiful setting
This is our second stay in edale and we had a really good 4 nights/3days. The cottage is as cosy as we remembered with central heating and an open fire too. Lounge is comfortable with views over looking the mountains in the distance.
The kitchen is well equipped and we made a few good meals at home.
Bedrooms are cosy and the bathrooms are lovely. Views from the upstairs bedroom are stunning with sound of river rushing through.
We visited lego discovery centre in Manchester, Manchester science museum and chatsworth. Also had a meal in the Cheshire cheese which was well worth it.
We’ll be back!
Warm and cosy in a beautiful location
The cottage is a perfect base for a weekend in the Peaks. It is deceptively spacious and the layout upstairs really makes the most of the space. We had snow but the cottage was cosy and snug on our return from some bracing walks. The cottage is set in a really beautiful spot; the village of Edale is really pretty, there are lots of great walks locally and it and has 2 great pubs.
Week long family getaway
Our family had a lovely 5 night stay in the warm cosy cottage. Close to tourist attractions and pubs and cafes, it was great!
Well located, comfortable and attractive terraced cottage
We stayed for 3 nights at the end of December with snow around and the house was warm and cosy with both central heating and a wood burner. The size and arrangement of the rooms was good, although entering directly into the kitchen/dinging area was sometimes a little awkward. Views on both sides are fabulous.
Great place with amazing views.
Julie is a great manager and a pleasure to deal with. A few gimlet touches would improve the ciatrage such as pictures and cushions and some storage in the small room nowhere to put your things in. Otherwise lovely and well equipped.
Beautiful cottage in stunning countryside
We loved this cottage! It was warm, cozy, and extremely comfortable. It has been beautifully renovated and decorated, with comfortable bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a stunning modern kitchen. The views over the countryside are are lovely and beds were very comfy. The surrounding area is beautiful and Edale village and the Pennine Way are a very short and pleasant walk away. We very much appreciated all the information about walks and local sights. Lunch at the Cheshire Cheese pub along the road was one of the highlights of our trip to the UK! We are so happy we chose this cottage to rent - our few days here were so peaceful and magical.
Julie was extremely friendly and helpful, and a pleasure to deal with. She couldn't have been more helpful - thank you so much!
