Charming apartment is located in the Monti district, a popular area close to the Coloseum, and can host up to 6 people. Tastefully finished with period and design features, it is located on the fourth floor with elevator and it comprises a large living room with sofa bed for two and fireplace, fully-equipped kitchen, double bedroom with en-suite bathroom, one bedroom for 3 people with mezzanine and another bathroom. The apartment is very bright and quiet and its location is fantastic: just down the road you will find many of the most popular restaurants and trendy shops of the area and in the nice Piazza Madonna dei Monti you can take an aperitivo with the many locals who gather here every evening. There is also a metro stop close by. If you are looking for a characteristic accommodation this is place for you.
The location could not have been better. A few steps from Piazza Zingari where our favorite gelato place happened to be located, and in the middle of the coolest neighborhood in Rome. There are so many unique shops, great restaurants and cafes, coffee bars, ATMS, and several markets to pick up apartment supplies with ease. The most difficult task was to choose which restaurants to try during our 4-day stay. A nice problem to have. :)
The space was comfortable for our 4 girls travelling together. We walked everywhere! There is a lift in the building, which is helpful to those of us recovering from knee surgery. Nicely decorated. Free WIFI was nice, too. I would highly recommend this space to any group of girls looking for a nice place to call their temporary home during their stay in Rome.
Clementina is situated in a lovely part of Rome and is within walking distance to shopping, coffee, gelato (all the important stuff) as well as transportation. Taxi stand is a few blocks away, as is the train station (or a few euros for a quick ride if you don't want to lug luggage for a 15-20 minute walk). The apartment was nice, with the large windows opened wide to bring in the sunshine! Rafaele made the check-in quite easy and was a nice gent. We did not have any linens for the second bedroom but someone dropped them off late at night. Unfortunately, it was just a bottom sheet (other options: wool blanket in early September - yikes!) But I really enjoyed staying here as missing bedding isn't a catastrophe! If you are needing lots of luxuries, hit a 5 star hotel. If you are seeking a clean, comfortable, cute apartment in the heart of Rome that truly feels like you are living in Rome and not just visiting, then this is the place! I would rent from Weekey Rentals (and Clementina) again.
This apartment is small, but despite it's tiny size slept 5 comfortably. Our family, including three teens, knew we wouldn't be spending much time at the apartment, so we went with location and economy. This apartment was the perfect fit for those goals. It is very close to Coloseum and taxi stands to launch to other destinations in Rome. Our visit was in July, and it was sweltering. Air conditioning was great in the apartment and it was so nice to come home to a cool apartment after our adventures. There is a small elevator to avoid dragging luggage up to the 4th floor. Decor is cute and includes some "kitchy" pieces like airplane seats and antique sewing machine tables.
Check in and check out were easy. manager was responsive and helpful. Master bed mattress was comfortable. It was nice to have access to the little washing machine to get some clothes washed before we departed to our next stop in Italy. Overall, a great stay. The only small recommendation I would have is to provide some napkins and paper towels in the apartment, as we did buy some fruit to eat for breakfast. I would recommend this cute little apartment.
Apartment as described. A couple of things need repairing but overall clean and well equipped. The aircon was a life saver for July in Rome.
The apartment is in a lovely area with plenty of boutiques and good restaurants and walking distance to most of the sites.
Emmanuele, who met us with the keys, was very helpful with tips for our stay.
I would definitely stay here again but the only thing is, I wouldn't take the shuttle service offered to the airport as the minivan we got was in terrible condition without seat belts for half of us and no aircon.
We recently stayed in Clementina during our visit to Rome. We found the apartment to be clean and comfortable and excellent location. We could walk to many sites from the apartment, and it was convenient to the train station, and metros. We are a family of 6 (4 kids, 3 of which are teens) and we fit comfortably in the apartment. It was wonderful to be able to spend time out and about and still be able to come back and cool off from the heat of Rome in July, then head back out. There was also a tasty pizza place a few doors down, and a gelato place at the bottom of the hill. All the restaurants we went to were very convenient to the apartment, and very tasty. The lift was very useful after a long day of walking, but it was also not a difficult stair climb to the apartment. We enjoyed our stay at Clementina and would stay there again.
In this area, with its ancient monuments and its fascinating ruins, you can follow the footsteps of the Roman Empire. The Palatine, the Circus Maximus, and the huge Imperial Forum make us take a step back and re-live the life of the Roman empire at the time. High above the Imperial Forum stands one of the seven hills of Rome, the Capitol, where they reside today the offices of the mayor of Rome and the Capitoline Museums. The focal point of the area is without a doubt the Colosseum, the most important symbol of Rome welcomes thousands of visitors each year. The district is very large, ranging from areas of intensive urbanization from the nineteenth century (such as that between the Interior Ministry and the Quirinale) to the archaeological park area consisting of the Opium Hill - Colosseum - Ludus Magnus - the Forum of Nerva - Forum and Markets Trajan. The “Rione Monti”, the area around Via Nazionale and Via Cavour is particularly picturesque and very popular: it's worth a walk to Via del Boschetto, Via dei Serpenti, via Panisperna and Via Baccina, streets full of craft shops, trendy and typical shops. The center of the nightlife is the square of the Madonna dei Monti, near the homonymous church, which also serves as a gathering place for local residents and occasional visitors.
